I saw a pure white owl in my back yard on my old pool when I was about 6 or 7.

It was the end of summer.. It must have been an albino.. or maybe not it would have got sun burned.

But anyways, it turned it's head around and stared at us.

this was in Anchorage Alaska at my College

and yes i have.. they make their way here off and on but yes Bald Eagles are around a lot and if you see a Snow owl here its nice but not uncommon

Odd that this owl is stretching its neck. Normally they don't do this while perching.

Did it not like to be touched? This is a rescued bird after all; usually it's the hand-raised birds who like being petted.
