No offense to you dood, really, I just wanna comment this on a video like this. Btw you did a great job. So here it is: I wanna see some kid with a crappy camera, first act guitar, solid state amp, and no pedals to do what you just did, but with a heart on fire for God. It's about worshipping and not spending a buttload of cash for the best stuff and playing a four chord song with it. Amen? again no offense, you did a great job and it's cool you can afford that stuff. go british amps!
@ChristianMusicianPGB haha, I hear ya man. Well, in that case, then why don't you pass that word along to Chris Tomlin's guitarist too? Im playing just what he is in this cover, right? :) And are you saying I'm not playing with a heart on fire for Christ because I have more-or-less expensive stuff? Would you prefer me to play secular music with this gear, or leverage it for the glory of God? Would it be more acceptable if I played crazy solos with the gear I have instead of leading worship?
@RedemptionsAnthem I just said it was cool that you could afford that stuff. I wasn't dissing ya. Chris' guitarist does go a little overboard. I have a 900 dollar amp and i'm on a worship team so we're in the same category! We're both entitled to our opinions. You could jazz up some of those worship songs if you want lol. The leverage is the heart. That beats talent and gear combined. Your playing sounds great btw.
@ChristianMusicianPGB Get a freaking life....you gonna down this guy has a great gift from God, and just happens to spend some money to have nice gear. If you know anything you know the sounds hes getting arent possible with crap.
@boonexy Thanks for the comments on some of my videos, but my man, I gotta tell ya---seriously---Jesus has absolutely revolutionized my life, and I cannot bare to not tell people. This is good news bro--that in our fallenness and rebellion from God, Jesus took our sin and condemnation, so we could be restored with a right relationship with God. And it is all because of His unmerited grace to someone as messed as me. And He offers it to you too, because of His great love. Check your inbox man!
@RedemptionsAnthem No need to start a meaningless argument, the universe is a lot more magnificent without invisible dictation. I actually recently re-read genesis. Ask yourself how much is really explained in there. This salvation you long for is a normal human emotion which is seemingly now often construed into something people call faith, when in actuality it is a similar condition that all living and conscious things deal with, which is fear and ignorance to the true workings of the world.
@Mrfishingexpert haha... dude, its no where close to $5000, don't know where you're getting those numbers. I would never spend that much on a guitar haha. well. maybe. it depends. haha
@Mrfishingexpert haha yeah man, well there are a lot of different les pauls. they're kind of like cars--they all do the same thing (drive), but the quirks that come with each make a car more expensive. same with guitar, they all play, but some have more quirks--youll be surprised how some les pauls can be like $750 and others can be 13 grand. its quite a range. they are all not the same, thats for sure. haha
@RedemptionsAnthem Yea i now got a les paul of my own. Its a Epiphone les paul standard and i love it. Price is about $800. I accualy prefer Epiphone over Gibson. People are like, whats wrong with you? But yea they are both the same. Epiphone bought Gibson so there is no diffrence.
@RedemptionsAnthem how much did u get that one for? i dont see epiphone on there so is gotta be a good amount. there are good epiphones out there but real les pauls are waaayyy nicer
@Mrfishingexpert haha... dude, its no where close to $5000, don't know where you're getting those numbers. I would never spend that much on a guitar haha. well. maybe. it depends. haha

Fantastic cover dude! Just a quick question, what key are you in? I want to learn this for my church worship band but i want to know in case our worship pastor changes the key on us :x
@uptheweight dude! go to Rock Hard Cases dot com, and they have the whole deal - custom cases, everything. Its so sick! Highly recommend, it has been an incredible deal, and a killer buy. I have loved it ever since i got it. And its still in great shape!
@petra1000petra haha thanks for your encouragement, and well, although i listed it as a cover, i kinda did my own version of the song, kinda just whatever i was feeling when i played it.... im sorry, i dont have the tabs.... :(
@RedemptionsAnthem Hey I forgot to tell you.. lol you should look up the strymon blue sky reverberator. It's probably one of the most beautiful sounding pedals i've ever heard. It's perfect for worship and prayer times, you just strum open chords and it sounds like your holy. lol no joke. Your set up would be perfect for it. Oh and you should check out jamey ice fall touring rig 2010, he uses the strymon blue sky pedal and he just has a awesome set up. Its crazy.
sounds good bro but can i make a sugestion? daniel used an analog quarter note delay with a tape reverse delay. thats how i play it and it sounds dead on bro! if you dont have a reverse delay, the quarter will do just fine. its more of a big sound rather than a fast delay. it gives more of an ambient feel to it. also try playing it on the neck pup. it will give you a much warmer sound. other than that really dig your playing. blessings!!!
@jrod2010ful dude, you are right on target with the delay effects! and hmm, i never thought about playing it on the neck pick-up. thats a great suggestion, because my tone in the verse does sound a bit to thick and fat, rather than warm and smooth. Thanks so much!
well he just used the reverse delay mode on his dd-5 i believe, which will be digital and not tape. i like using a tape reverse on my nova delay because it gives more character. i also forgot to mention that its not really a quarter delay, its more of an eighth note delay. he used a line 6 echo park on the analog setting with quarter note mode and just tapped on eighth notes. this works really well along side an rv-5.
That was amazing! You're really good! I'm learning the song From the Inside Out by Hillsong United. Could you possibly do a cover of that please???? You have a new subscriber also! (: keep playing! God bless!
Jealousy is a sin, he is just blessed to have a nice guitar, if you want to be blessed as well then simply ask God. Continue playing for God bro.
