why are you keeping an malawi eye biter from africa (needs harder water) with south american cichlids (need soft water)? they have complete oposite needs and shouldnt be kept together.
i also had 3 to start with and baught them when they were about 3 inches long, now i only have one and its about 7 or 8 inches and the cichlids don't bother it at all
yes your right adrian, i've given away most of the convicts and i only have 1 african left which is the eye biter which isn't a veg eater. i have another tank too i'll try and balance the fish out between the 2
the tank and unit cost £240 cyprus pounds, the filter i got off e-bay for £120 sterling. i don't think the fish are too over crowded cause the filter is capable of of running a tank 3 times the size and i do regular water changes so the the water is always spotless.
