@FalafellFo Lol that's why she said they don't have to be neat.. She was showing how to get a curly look. It's the same as spending time to roller set--you take the rollers out to get the great curls. But if you make neat ones you can leave them in.

when drying your hair under the dryer what should the heat setting be, and also when i had a relaxer i would do this to my hair. All natural now & my hair is lil past my shoulder & a little more curler were its comes to my shoulder when wet. Can i blowdry my hair first then apply product so I could keep my length? Ive also have wore my hair straight & then maybe a wk later as it got naturally oily applied a water based pomade & braided my hair & it came out very pretty.

I love your video and have tried the style at home. I am having a couple of problems. The first is the crown of my head..IT NEVER COMES OUT RIGHT! It always looks dry and the coils are not right. @fettucciniful yes! it'll be slippery, but you can set your hair the same way that an african american would. You have to make sure you stay under the dryer until its totally dry or you'll have a frizzy mess!
