According 2 Nona, he didn't even dump her properly. She came to one of his shows one night and saw Mayte "flashing her engagement ring from the stage", when Nona confronted him, he was totally defensive. THATS when they broke up. Ouch...

He dumped Vanity the same way because of her drug use and spiteful demeanor during the beginning of the Purple Rain days. When it comes to drugs, Prince is unsympathetic. He kicked Morris Day to the curb because he was snorted so much coke.

I can understand that, but a simple "we're over" woulda been decent. Finding out you've been kicked to the curb by meeting your boyfriend's fiance' is worse than getting a text. jeez

I recall that there was supposed to been some sort of msg due to the ending where she gives up the gun. Can someone remind me if Prince was given money to charity or other during the original playback of this video?
