Head To Head - Amp Simulator Shootout - The Process

Great vid! What are you using for graphic annotations and video transitions? What Video editing software are you using?

@wizprodux A combination of Programs. The "Head To Head" words were made in Photoshop, then imported in to After Effects where the animation is done. Then all that gets put in to Pro Tools to score the sound bed using mainly different libraries in Kontakt, but also some other samples, or some guitar ect...

Camtasia is used to sequence everything and add "callouts" zooms, some narration, transitions ect... then rendered into a final video file and uploaded to Youtube.

I'm doing all my screen caps in iShowU HD, then edit it Avid Media Composer. New to After Effects, for now I have some basic title animation, still need to dig deeper and add sound fx to my titles.

Wow, that's a lot of amp simulators to get through! I'm glad you are doing it and not me!!!

But it's going to be interesting to see the results.

@Vercingetorix Ha, I doubt I will have time to go through every Amp Sim I have, and every Amp/Cab/Mic combo available on each Plugin or Hardware amp sim. But I'll do what I can, so stay tuned.

@BenoniStudio I also noticed a "fractal" type graphic at the beginning of the video - did you pick that out for any particular reason :))

@Vercingetorix Ha ha, good job, that is indeed a "fractal" I am animating for the background. But did I pick a Fractal for that reason... I guess you will just have to wait and see.... or I could just tell you now, and the answer is No. :)
