@usamericanz : I see you posted this a while ago... but I think the money the military gives you to sign on looks really good to a fresh out of school 18 year old kid and thats why they "volunteer" and if thats the case if you want to quit the military why do they ruin you life... quiting the army is so looked down apon in our country... thats not volunteering in my point of view!

@Jesgar02 My brother-in-law left the Air Force after one tour of duty. He was proud to serve his country, like all of the military men in my family have been, but newly married he recognized that he wasn't cut out to be a career soldier. They did try to guilt him a bit, but I wouldn't say they "ruined his life."
