Manufacture says to come to complete stop before shifting gears. Could damage gear case. Low gear is just for climbing or pulling loads. these are belt driven so be carefull doing either of these two things. LOL>

i read on a website thats selling the hammerhead 250cc buggy that it has a high and low gear for hill starts... is that true??? can u drive around in the low gear and then change to high gear or is it just for hill starts??? HELP PLEASE!!!

I own a scooter store in Denver and just won the ss 250cc Hammerhead. I have been dealing w/ China made product for the past couple of years and the sceptism over buying Chinese made products is somewhat unfair. I don't care if you are buying Honda , Yamamaha ect..., products they are ALL manufactured in China. (This goes for % 85 of all parts making up the cars and trucks we drive daily.) The key is knowing who actually put the product together. My scooters are completely assembled here.

@xemeth12 2 suspension mounts, tire blew, and 1 of the 2 cooling fans. 1 suspension mount was from the first 10 mins. the others were over the next few months. it was nothing to serious for the mounts. it was just the bolt going through that snapped

actally they are a texas company, and tested in texas. they are one of the best build dune buggys on the market. it climbs as well as most atv's as long as you know how to drive.

They say it will do over 50mph, but I just don't see it happening. I wouldn't trust jumping it, and it probably can't climb hills for shit. It is Chinese, but the motor is based off Honda design, that's good.
