Yes, it's correct. Most native Spanish speakers pronounce those two letters the same way, like "b" (bilabial, both lips touching) in English.

I would go to Salamanca or Valladolid. Actually all the Castilla y León region I think is good for learning Spanish with (almost) a neutral accent and vocabulary. The Spanish accent from that region is the one spoken on TV, if would be like the English of the BBC.

Yes, in Spanish we don't pronuonce the "ll" like the English do, for example, in "Umbrella". The Spanish pronunciation of the "ll" is much more similar to the pronunciation of "Y" in, for example, "Yes". This is just an approximation, because it is different considering the region (some pronounce different the Y and the ll and for a lot spanish speakers the Y sound and the ll is identical) and I know almost nothing about phonetics to be honest...

"LL is usually pronounced like the "y" in "yellow." There are some regional variations, however. In parts of Spain it has the sound of the "ll" in "million," and in parts of Argentina it has the "zh" sound of "azure." Examples: llama, calle, Hermosillo."

In other websites compare it with the sound of the Y in "crayon" and "yard".
