Genin69. I was making a statement to a guy who didn't think they were the real thing. I was telling him they were. I actually agree with your statement. Even though these guys are connected to Japan, it takes 12-15 years to get a Shodan (1st Dan) under them. They are very diverse and use what works. You still need a good model to work off of though. Then explore with how it works for you, but you can't learn anything from thin air or watching videos all the time or even a book.
These guys do have a direct link to Japan. They are from Doron's people back in the day. Unless you have been training as long as me. You might not know them. They are hard core and very respected. Sure they might throw in a roundkick here and there, but their focus is Ninpo but they do look at other arts like BJJ, etc.,
@zorro924 people are way to obsessed with "ties to japan", it's a futile quest. Rugby's origins are in England, the best rugby team in the world is in New Zealand and they have NO ties to England. Boxing's origin is also from England, who are the best boxers? The Americans and Africans also with no ties to England, they adapted and developed it to work for themselves and improved upon it, sometimes having very strict ties is a little like inbreeding. No positive growth, rather seek diversity
Good stuff! I have been training for over 28 years years in Ninjutsu. These guys are the real deal and no teddywinroth, there is not too much talk. Better to know how than not, especially if ones life depends on it. These guys from Akban are from war based countries in the middle east and they know how to fight. They have to know.
@vinlahadin2 if someone takes you to the ground you'll probably grapple him, until his buddies show up and kick you into a coma.. jujutsu is excellent for competitions and mma but not very effective in a real street fight, there might be broken glass on the ground, what then? you might shatter your knee on the pavement as you dive for his legs, what then?

@zorro924 Real deal requires legitimate lineage leading back to Japan.
Which I do not think these guys have.
