  • Thanks John, great rendition.

So pleasant to sing and play.

I agree with your favourite fairport's cds.

I like also the double cd "25th anniversary concert"

    Ciao

  • Thanks very much, Claudio. These are really just the albums that I know the best. Music's rather like books and people, you let them right in, when you're ready.

    All the best

    John

  • I LOVE this John! I've got to listen to Fairport Convention; obviously I've been missing out on some great music. THANK you for sharing. Just brilliant.

    cheers

  • Thanks very much, Julie. I strong recommence "Leige and Leaf","Unhalfbricking", and "What We Did On Our Holidays" - these are all with Richard Thompson and Sandy Denny. "Full House" is another of my favourites. The "History Of" is also a very good compilation, if you can't find the others. I think "Leige and Leaf" was voted top folk-rock album of all time - if it wasn't it should have been ;o) Sandy Denny, Richard Thompson and Dave Swarbrick together are pure magic!

    All the best

    John

  • Thanks John for taking the time to direct me; I had no idea where to start! I'm ordering everything on your list; I can't wait!

    cheers my friend,
