Y'all crack me up with all this talk of which bow is best...personally I think it's the skill of the archer and arrow choice/tuning not the brand of bow he/she shoots that decides what the score will be. I have a wall of trophies I've won shooting a Hoyt Vectrix (319gr Easton LightSpeed 3D arrows) and I would like to believe that just maybe it was the countless hours I've spent practicing and tuning my bow and my arrows that allowed me to be so fortunate and not the because word "Hoyt" is stamp
people this days think having the biggest badest bows outthere is the way to go ... im happy with my 08 bear the truth 2 at 70 lbs ... and i kills a deer and everything else the same way as a brain new 2010 mathews z7.... with its new grid lock techonlogy and its roller guard and its Dead End String Stop,Harmonic Stabilizer, Monkey Tails, SlimFit grip. DAMM I WANT ONE ! LOL
Mathiews once wrote in there adds that the solo cam was the way to go and dual cam was imperfect. I think Mathiews sucks balls and simply making the Monster makes previous statements by them worthless. Besides, the best bows in the World Cup are HOYT---Ultra Elite and Vantage Elite. The Conquest is sucking ass and some archers are switching to Hoyt to get better scores and win. ex:Dominque Genet of France. He drops Mathiews and wins GOLD in the third stage.
well first of all this isnt the mathews monster its some getto ass bow. second of all mathews and bowtech are the best hunting bows they never said anything about competition shooting. so get your facts straight before you make a coment like that.

too bad all the states are allowing crossbow hunting. with a lot of hunters switching over and new hunters coming in using crossbows, in 10 years the majority of hunters will be using crossbows. matthews and other brands will put all of their time and money into crossbows. compounds were fun while they lasted.

Typical Mathews shooter, "mathews is the best because I seen them in an advertisement that said they were the best so I believe it because I'm a Idiot with 900 dollars to blow on a crappy bow that has a mathew name on it.......DURRRR..."
Mathews is by far the better bow to this day, I bought a general and a dreny, i took them both to 2 tournys, won both with my dreny and the bowtech i got 1 win with it so there mathews is better (i had good days on the 4 shoots so its not that), then i killed a 12 point with the general but it didnt leave as much of a blood trail as what it did with the dreny when i shot my 8 point, with the same arrows and broadheads and same poundage. Plus the general is more bulky, so i sold the general.

Pretty extemely GAY setup you've got there. It's an onieda hunting bow with a stabilizer twice the size of the bow and a sight a foot in front of the bow. You look like a real fuckn idiot. Keep shooting.
Yes, the letoff will range from 70 to 95%. A base model (which is either black riser with several choices of camo, or a full camo bow) will run about $680.
Nice & simple. Much easier to copy than something with cams.

Negative...that is a new Monster Bows Phoenix. Does not utilize cams or a timing system like an Oneida.
