But in the case of this song, I hear that club-like techno/house tone in it. When I hear hip hop at a club, I think of that type of atmosphere as a goddamn excuse for club owners to get away with bait-and-switch tactics regarding the music genre. The whole clubbing scene was based on house music at some era, and that is where it really started to explode into a popular dance experience. But in this day and age with hip hop, c'mon.
