the problem with this version is that Buckethead AND the original, done by Ron Wasserman, are 4 minute songs with 2 verses and chorus to boot. The show has had plenty of missteps, but overall, it's come a long way, not just in production value, but acting, plot and seperating itself from Sentai. @DracoAzule uhh 1 is dead: Thuy Trang. And if you turn off the nostalgia blinders, MMPR was HORRIBLE. Characters bland, over-the-top goodie goods, poorly used Sentai footage, too much filler and getting interesting only with the Green Ranger story arc. Now Season 3 had good writing, but that was it. Later seasons like In Space, Lost Galaxy, Time Force, Dino Thunder, and RPM were much better than MMPR, with the rest (save for Turbo, Mystic Force, and Overdrive) were also ok.
