me and my grandpa were watching the game and i was making kraft dinner , then when we scored i went downtown and got passed a joint by a stranger and high fived like a thousand people, the skytrain ride was hilarious
@sumbody19 Well duh! The ones who lost against Canada wouldn't have any reason to scream like that, and the rest of the world didn't care too much, beyond a civil, "Congrats, Canada," note on their Facebook pages. This is the standard reaction when a country wins Olympic gold on home soil in their favorite event. This was simply escalated by the fact that it was a first for Canada. It's like a tornado; if the conditions are right, it can happen anywhere in the world.
dude as soon as we won me and my buds ran downtown and went nuts, best experience of my life, i mean every 1 was happy, people were playing road hocket, people were dancing cheering, damn do i miss the olympics
All of Canada were absolutely united and for about 6 hours we were all doing and thinking the same thing! I could feel the energy and it was being projected back from here in Kingston!
@Textrybal nope just downtown:) its just your seeing videos all of downtown because its where most of the people and pavillions were, it was deafning that day
this one is pretty good too, you can hear when the goal happens fu8qTlzuGto&feature=related

Downtown Toronto went mad for it too: but you folks in Vancouver - GOOD JOB!!!!
I felt - like we were united. Urban differences apart: we were SO happy!!
Good job! We were celebrating at Dundas Square and everywhere else in the G.T.A.
