Oh, my god; this was absolutely stunning to watch. I saw it at the Sydney Opera House and loved every second of it. At the end of the whole play, after the cast had taken their bows and everything, Edward came back on stage and raised his hands and it SNOWED in the theatre. It was the most amazing experience ever. <3

I saw this back when I was 18. It was brilliant, the perfect stage adaptation. No words just pure emotion. To hear that music live punctures every inch of your soul; it's rapturous.

Nice set... Nice dancing... But I've seen some other pieces of this and absolutely refuse to go with the idea that Edward dances in this one. D< Its too weird! Hes all friendly and dancey and totally opposite of what he should be here... :(

I fell asleep a lil (forgive me) during some parts of this play when I saw it at Brooklyn Academy of Music some years ago. But not this part. This is the best part of the play it was so beautiful I loved it and wish I could see it again

it's described as a dance production, they are ballet dancing, in the info section of this video it says ballet, Matthew Bourne is a ballet/dance choreographer, and it's described as a ballet numerous times in reviews. it may be many other things on top of that, sir, but it is also indeed a ballet. and "a show" is a rather broad term dear.

Not in Australia. It went to Brisbane & Sydney & then straight back to London. I'm not sure if it's still playing there though, I think it is! :)

also edward is a person of so few words that his character comes out so beautifully through dance. and a large part of edward and kim's relationship is based on the fact that he cant touch her so again the physical approach is perfect. and also bourne is a genius... that always helps!!
