@9paska I'm surprised you liked it. Alot of people disliked it. I enjoyed Shift more than Forza to be honest. I haven't played Pro Street so I can't say anything on it. Driving feels more comfortable to me in Shift overall. Everybody likes and dislikes what they please ya know?

ProStreet sucks and fails to be a simulator because the handling is terribly unrealistic and the cars (which it had shoddy performance) bog down unrealistically in seconds after changing gears. Shift is better than ProStreet but a pro driving game isn't what NFS is all about. HP2 is the best and real NFS even though IDC if it's arcade.

@umerfawi WTF, this looks exactly like in PC, nothing is more detailed. The PC version has some bugs with ATI cards that u wont have maximum graphic even when u already set everything on max, some people found tricks to fix that.

But usually the people who dislike it are the assholes who aren't used to EA making a NFS game like this, and the people who suck at the game as well. I'm suprised people don't get tired of the same shit every NFS game. You do illegal street races, run from the cops, I wanted something new, and Shift gave me what i asked for. Forza may have more cars, and GT5 may have better damage and what not, but it's still a good game.

seemed sort of unpolished though. some textures were screwed (grill mesh on the cars) others were missing (buggatti Veyron wide body kit)

but over all it was really fun. and worked amazing with my Logitech Momo wheel.

Should try a game called Live For speed if you want a actual driving simulation.

Grid is cool but its still the arcade style of driving. LFS has a extremely polished physics engine. down to tire deformation and suspention coil wear, engine cooling and weight/fuel distribution. its the best i have ever played period.

Graphics do suck on LFS though because all the resources are used for doing up those beautiful driving physics.

it's online also. i think up to 128 people on the track no bots.

Dunno the graphics look pretty good on GRID if you run it at highest settings with 1920x1200 Xtreemjuicyness.

dunno if you played in on a console though. they are stuck at 640x720 resolution and its upscaled to 1920x1080..makes for alot of texture jaggies and blur.

Ya that's about it, other than that it's a fairly good combination of both worlds. Also the damage wasn't so great in previous need for speed games, so it isn't suprising for this one. Hopefully they'll improve it for the next one.
