Starting at 3:42, Steve is talking nonsense. There is no "your cookie" which "gets bigger and bigger". Cookies are separated per domain (see P3P privacy policies). Also, only idiot sites pass your password in the URL (I have personally never seen one), and URLs don't end up in your cookies.

I realize you commented 9 months ago but you should have been aware that technology changes. Microsites collected and wrote info into a single cookie until the session was complete, that's the cookie he's talking about.

How you've never seen a URL with private info in it amazes me too, and as for URL not ending up in cookies, you're very mistaken.

@dandvd he might not be talking about one single cookie growing bigger, but getting bigger the amount of cookies stored. And he never mentions passwords in url, but private info in urls.

I was reading the Dan Browne book 'Deception Point' - he wrote about delta-force agents using a robo-mosquito equipped with a camera and microphone. he also wrote that military technology that comes out as 'new' has really been in action secretly for at least 12 years. (is it more than this?) i have my suspicions of DB;-)
