There´s many paths down the guitarroad, but I dont think its easier to play vintage rocknroll guitar than this (I mean really play), or metal rythmguitar for that sake. Its the same amount of work, u get good at what u do alot. This path probably sounds emptier for a listener, but not necessarily empty for the player if scales and patterns is your thing.
