I wonder how do you imagine a battle between two destroyers nowadays...it actually has very little to do with "piloting skills" LOL...the ships are just floating next to each other !!! And EVE is like hell more complicated than that. Game mechanics offer soooo much, you can't even imagine. Good luck piloting a frigate with your "skills", when sb is in a battleship. Maybe you would be able to scratch him. If you want to play a shooter, go play space invaders.

in pvp a frigates job is to point and web a BS or similar size target and bring in his friends to take it out, unless he is piloting an AF in which he could neut the BS(maybe) and try to kill him while his tank is down, it is very rare that frigates will go up against a BS on their own

I dont think that one AF would be able to take BS down on it's own, unless the BS is attecked by rats on belts or is in the middle of a mission. Show me the killmail or it's never happened ;P (maybe there are some i dont know) even neuts on an AF are only small and cap on BS usually with cap boosters is huge so neutralizing it would take ...a year?

Losing BS agains one single AF would mean STOP PLAYING THIS GAME for the BS pilot ;P

i think it has been done, although the setup was nooby, and the majority of pilots that have lost BSs to AFs or cruisers have rushed ship class for the biggest ship and have crap fittings, however there are a lot of noobs in low sec, so i wouldnt be surprised if it has happened, although i do agree with you about the cap vs neut and such

I've personally killed tons of battleships in AF's.... However i was with 30 or so other AF's at the time :P Believe me... the smile you get from blowing up battleships with a assault frig gang doesn't go away for hours >:)

This is no joke, but about 200 people gathered near THE CITY OF God and started a massive war with some random group.. then i keep seeing these same people moving round the map destroying people and creating block aids..

So i decided with me and my 4 friends to take on 2 strays in our battlecruisers.. guess what happened.. yep we got destroyed, he released about 20 drones and we got blown to bits. So so be careful around EVE now,people are planning something.

As for the no podding, it was offered becuase a current member of MD-K, having been in EU noted that one of the things the membership was most bitter about during wars he fought in was pod killing becuase it's one of the the things that people saved for. Granted the price of implants has dropped - but the fact remains it was done with the interests of EU and not us in mind as some of you seem to believe. We also don't have a ton of implants in, so feel free to try and catch the pods :)
