i did it exactly the way you showed and I get into Nesterj on my psp, but everytime I load a rom the screen goes black and my psp turns off. I've tried it with multiple roms and it does the same thing every time

@diablitoboy hey it worked perfectly for me, did u unzip the folder before putting it in your psp? if you havent, first download winrar (google it, its free) use that to decompress the file, then go into to your psp and follow the following steps: go into the folder named PSP then> game and install nesterj here and it should work. lastly go from the game folder into the roms folder and install the games here.
