  • @TheFeeez21 Ive seen them live 10+ times. I can assure you. He can, and they do

  • @hasekrocks ive seen them too.... this sound is not what the crowd heard and for sure jesses voice is at least a backing track at the very least

  • Clearly influenced by tool/a perfect circle...but i listen to 10 Years more...cause they're better :-P

  • @matchbox202006 10 years is awesome...but better than tool? idk about that.

  • rockin' the rainboots.

  • This is either playbacked or to good to be true.

  • @eidotevil actually they sound EXACTLY like their CD. Saw them at a hole in the wall bar a year ago and they are amazing.

  • It's crazy how I was watching this exact video 4 years ago and 4 years later I'm here watching it again. This song brings back my good ole 7th grade days.Man where did time go...

  • The most flawless performance I have ever seen. Jesse's voice and musical performance... just make my mind fly away.

  • What year is this ?? .. ty

  • could the audience be any more stoic?

  • funny how i searched this song to compare the (awesome) live version of this dvd to the studi version, and the first video is from the dvd :D

  • Them some loud ass boots haha

  • @DarkSnakke "all dressed up for pride"

  • @mcrowell5710 ty!

  • AMAZING

  • Ten Years' "Beautiful as You Are" is very similar in style to Maynard and Perfect Circle's music. I like both very much!

  • 2:09 Nice rainboots

  • very nice history, i dedicate the song to ... :D

  • @Erador... Every album is different bro... Don't hate the songs; appreciate the stories.

  • first 10 years song i heard<3

  • Man... When 10 Years had the potential to be the biggest thing in music. The Autumn Effect is a perfect record and I hate to feel like they won't ever top it.

  • Awesome Show!

  • Really good song. Makes me think.....

  • this song sends shivers through my body its so good. his voice sounds like maynard james keenan from tool at points.

  • LOL gotta love 10 years, Lyrics "are you there can you hear me?" I would ask the crowd the same question.

  • Are you there? Can you hear me? Can you feel me ? ^^ :) I LOVE THEM!!!

  • this is the 1st song i ever remember hearing by 10 Years! even tho this was on the 2nd album w/Jesse on vocals, i knew from the beginning that this was an epic band. btw, my name is Jesse, as well & it makes me feel pretty cool that there's such an epic singer that share's my name. Jesse Hasek is amazing @ life! \m/

  • @thegrungewave Word. I finally moved out of my parents house after graduation and was living with a friend of mine. He puts in the FVT cd and I hear this for the first time. I couldn't get tired of it.

  • @darikai219 nice. rock on brosef! \m/

  • the crowd sucks ... they're sleeping ??? WTF !

  • The best family values

  • 7 people are douche bags and need to eat a cock meat sandwich

  • @JOK3R210 In order for that to happen, they'll need to be sent to Guantanamo Bay.

  • i remember when i saw him he was wearin pretty much the same but he had a fur coat on in the summer dude rocks

  • Seth green with dreadlocks!

  • @RadicalLightning HAHA finally someone agrees with me

  • @RadicalLightning THANKYOU! My girlfriend thought I was crazy for thinking that. I knew I was right dammit!

  • i think its hilarious how jesse always ends up shirtless xD

  • this band is so great i just love the way they just stand there and do nothing....i give them a thumbs down because they have sucked since their first cd.

  • Killer boots man!

  • 10 Years should record a DVD in the old "MTV Unplugged" format from the 90's

  • fucking love this song!!!!

  • When I take about 90mg of tryptamine before bed and play this song after waking up I feel as if I can remember going to sleep before this life. It may sound crazy but it's an amazing feeling. Thank you 10 Years.

  • I Love This Song.

  • Love the rain boots.

  • Sick rain boots. Maybe he thinks a storms coming, gotta be prepared right? He Must be Maynard Keenans lost long brother.

  • This song is the best thing ever. This band is utterly beyond fantastic and absolutely unbelievable. All of that. Just - I'm sorry, but why the rain boots...?

  • Please check out: 10 Years - "Fix Me"~ Feeding The Wolves Tour as well as other videos from the acoustic set w/ Shinedown "Anything & Everything Tour"

  • Agree with nickjohnson93,, this sounds EXACTLY like the album version! i was at this concert and it was great!

  • i love 10 years

  • ah i wish i could have seen them live *dreams*

  • @MrWeedman024 OH you got me!

    Just kidding 10 years sucks.

  • Man these guys blow.

  • I say "amazing" a lot when it comes to music, but this is beyond fucking amazing!

  • God i love 10 years <3

  • I loive it when bands sound the same as they do on cd's :D

  • @PPma16

thats because it is not live... its playback

  • @cobyy93 too bad its not. if u listen to his voice

  • 10 Years-at the Black Sheep on the 9th In Colorado Springs...fuckyeah.. i cannot believe their not headling over Saving Abel

  • Oh, Jesse! Those rain-boots made me bwahaha XD

AMAZING singing and playing! 10 Years never disappoints (which has rightfully been stated by many of you ladies and gents on here) ~ love listening to them on CD, love them live, love love love! ^_^

Can't wait to see them again! :D

  • 1:46 mic spin, that was some good timing lol

  • this is great. too bad they're starting to sell out. :(

  • @lolbet93 how are they selling out? Feeding The Wolves is one of their heaviest albums while still maintaning the softness. I find it's a rare combo pulled very nicely.

  • @lolbet93 Nah, they haven't "sold out" yet. Sure, their new album maybe different from their previous releases, but they didn't change their sound drastically to appeal to the teeny boppers. They still play this song live, and others from their 1st album. I'll be seeing them live on the 28th. They never disappoint.

  • 10 years is absolutly awesome. his voice is like no other

  • they need to play this more..I'd like to hear All White or Frality....shit' they should rerecord Into The Half Moon with Jesse..he tares it up!!!

  • go rubber rain boots!!!!

  • I seen these guys and got to meet them a couple of months ago. They are AMAZING! Hope to see them again soon!

  • unsung heroes.. no one will ever know about these guys back home. They don't know what they are missing out on...

I hope 10 years get their rightful big break soon.

  • sounds exactly like the album version!

     10 years = god like!

  • @NickJohnson93 even better

  • @NickJohnson93 it really does not sound like the CD, but when does live ever? still good though

  • BEST UNDER RATED BAND OF TODAY. AND AWSOME IN LIVE I WAS AT THIS SHOW BUT IN CAMDEN IT WAS AWSOME.

  • Yeah, I have seen them twice live. They are def amazing!

  • Cant get enough of this awesome video....

  • Jesse is an amazing singer, they sound great live, and they actually do alot of acoustic versions of their songs that make the studio versions sound like crap. They are incredible period

  • R u there can u hear me R u there can u feel me.......Damn, Dee VOICE

  • so amazing! Just this little dread locked boy then POW! sexy ass powerful voice! :D

  • @kornfan - Something I've noticed about Jesse's that he tends to don something that'll stick with you when he performs... Be on the lookout lately for a brown suit coat dripping with white paint - a fan and friend of mine made it for him to wear.

@nyoung - Dude, I was there, too! That was a kick ass show. The fellas are all nice, I'd recommend hittin' up Tater if you can. Total sweetheart, that one.

@jared - Yeah, man. They are amazing live. Catch them if you can.

  • the best live band

  • dude i want to see this band live so bad. Do they really sound this good live?

  • @jarederajarederaj definitely one of the best live bands i've ever seen

  • dreadlocks + boots. haha

  • 1:24 to 1:25 \m/

  • saw them this Halloween with Sevendust and got to meet Jesse the singer. They are an amazing band and he was really awesome to talk to .

  • Rain boots gotta go dude. Good band tho! SHOOT IT SHOOT IT OUT

  • They sound so good live they actually sound PERFECT <3 :D

  • one of the guitarist is my uncle =)

  • @AwesomeMegan That is so awesome megan

    lol

    Lucky Ducky

  • niceee

  • i woulda lost my mind if i was that girl whom he touched

  • i like the music but hes a little to dramatic to watch...

  • Thats where my goloshes went. Badazz show!!

  • He's dreads are sick. Too bad he cut them off.

  • I would give anything to right there. "10 Years offer more than just music and words they deliver a mission statement... Just call The Autumn Effect the soundtrack to our new and improved lives, a signpost to a future where we're more than just cogs in the machine, but vibrant beings that can touch the God within."

  • as freakin' awesome live as they are in studio

  • Damn good performance, that dudes got an awesome voice.

  • this crowd fuckin blows

  • @therealrene That's because they performed REALLY early in the day of the Family Values Tour '06. Like, really early. People who caught them were pretty lucky. I thought they were one of the best.

  • RU THERE ???

    CAN U FEEL ME ???

  • This Crowd Sucks Ass ! ! ! !! !

  • great song.. but the crowd is dead.:) maybe they're listening and trying to understand the meaning of the song. :) "are you there? can you hear me?". my band cover this song.

  • 0:55-1:05 his voice is breath taking.. literally one of my favorite albums.

  • I was at this show it was in manfielda Mass. I even sam myself ith this part of the video and in the deftones part and the korn part, Honestly Stone Sour owned the show!

  • I want Matt Wantland back... He was such a great fit in this band

  • @Erador hey u knw wat happend to matt? i knw hes not in the band no more. ive been looking everywhere trying to find out why he quit or got kicked out or wat not. i knw he had sum charges filed against him cuz i guesss his ex accused him of hitting her or sum shit like that. i saw it online.

  • Dude put your shirt on, please! Super song regardless, go 10 years!

  • I think it's awesome that 10 years, Dir en grey, Korn...etc.. All shared the same stage. XD It makes me want to go back in time.

  • Sounds so fu**ing amazing live.....love this track!

  • 2:10 was nice :)

  • BOOTS!!!

  • @991metallicafan BWAHAHAHAHAH!!! .... BOOTS!!!

  • no shit, they aren't ripping off anyone, that's just who they are inspired by. Fuck all the haters that are jealous bc they are in shit bands that can't make it anywhere. WAAH WAHH try harder pussies

  • @Smackafee05 I agree...when I make a rock song it doesn't mean I'm ripping off Elvis.

  • wow dead crowd

  • wow, impressive live!

  • Comment removed

  • totally mate. well, ripping off both tool and a perfect circle. The singer is trying so hard to be Maynard during his a perfect circle era, and a lot of the guitar parts in there songs they have done always sound either very Tool or APC, and one of the guitarists even plays the same guitar that Adam Jones is famed for using.

Before anyone starts having a go though i do like this band, but there influences are very clear to see.

  • @moustachepower13 Is it bad if they sound or try to sound like one of the best bands and set of musicians in history? No, but I don't think 10 Years had the intentions of being Tool/APC. All great bands are influenced by other music and musicians. Maynard and this guy have passion and intellect or at least deep thought in the root of their vocals and writing. Ripping off is harsh. All evolve... usually, lol.

  • @Lateralus138 I always thought that they sounded a bit like Tool

  • @shabiddobshow

Not ripping off - just emulating. Can't ever beat the original but if it inspires....

  • The drummer is killin'!

  • I always lked 10 years, but is Jesse lip singing here??? The mouth movements dont match the vocals at all sometimes.

  • the video isent synced up right

  • @AllYourFriendz haha. its a mess up in the upload of this video. i have the dvd. hes singin.

  • Oh okay, thanks.

  • Video quality and rendering !

    Youtube is terrible !

  • @AllYourFriendz Jesse has never lip synced in his entire life. He's not that kind of musician. I think it might be the video quality that makes you think that.

  • Hey down in a hole82..can you beat theier second album? Then SHUT UP! Your ruining the rest of our experience

  • Damn....we 10 Years fans are quite the defensive people of this band aren't we?

I haven't been disappointed yet by 10 Years. Jesse's voice has got to be the best thing about this band, he and Pete Loeffler are the best singers in today's rock.

  • even if theyre unknown, i dont care cuz it got me to be able to be front row when they came to columbia. best band ever

  • What a great first album but so dissapointed by their second one..

  • @DownInAHole82

Hmm...I did miss the riffs in Division, but overall, it was very good musically....ah well, listen to their new song, it should satisfy those who like 10 Years' heavier stuff

(oh, and Down in a Hole=song of win)

  • It wasn't about being heavy. I like their first album from beginning to end. It just was one of those albums. Second one didn't have that flow or quality. It happens though. So hard for bands to have back to back solid albums.

  • First album? You mean Killing All That Holds You? Cuz that's there first album. Check it out if you haven't heard it.

  • actually there first album was into the half moon

  • Hey Dude, what 'new song' are you referring to? Did they release something i am not aware of ? I hope so...

  • They've been playing one live called "Shoot It Out"....type it in, it's actually quite good. Jesse says there should be an album out by spring =D

  • hey dude, what do you mean by "new song" is there a new demo out? havent heard of anything new recently by them...

  • ugly boots

  • OK to comment on the fashion and not just the music and all the political crap. We don't all come from the same place.

  • the mine is just a funny comment ; I love Jess and I love 10 Years and I love their songs, if you don't understand my joke please stay away...if I could meet I will tell him about the ugly boots, surely and I know that he can joke with this..

fuck all people they can't smile!!!

  • @LuxAnna79

    *snorts* I lol'd, bro =D

  • get' em Jess!!!!

  • this is one of my favorite bands both of their cd's are awsome and i dnt mind if theyre underrated or if the dont go mainstream i rather see them live in a small to medium venue than an arena

  • 10 Years has to be the #1 most underrated band out right now. They are definitely one of a kind despite the genre they fall under and the lyrics are so meaningful but not obvious, it makes you search for what they mean.

  • truth

  • couldn't agree more I hate that they get lumped in with all those other bands who I'm not gonna even mention. 10 years are so much more artistic.

  • @bugmusk6 Yeah although they are played on the radio, they aren't radio rock or mainstream at all! Especially due to a lot of people still not knowing they exist, i seen them at a local venue and theyre were MAYBE 100 people their, and keep in mind with less than 100 people they didnt hold back at all. Amazing band, AND NEW ALBUM IN THE SPRING OF '10 MAYBE!

  • are you kidding they are still playing to 100 people crowds that really pisses me off. and bands like Nickelback are playing stadiums it is fucking insane!!!!

  • @bugmusk6 Yeah and when i seen them on Mudvaynes New Game tour, they were chanted off half way through the set for Mudvayne.

  • @ethan1336 lmao I do think Mudvayne has one good song but that is just crazy!!!!

  • man when i heard their music, i thought that there was no way that they couldn't be known. this is definitely one of my favorite bands

  • You just said verbatim what I've said to alot of other people. Saw them live at Projekt Revolution in '08....and they can really put on a show. There were about 500 people there. And they're slowly getting more attention; the Houston radio station plays them constantly, especially Beautiful. The good thing is, even though they're underrated, they are incapable of sucking =D amiright?

  • jesse hasek and maynard james keenan are my 2 favorite singers they r both so amazing live

  • scheiß puplikum

  • for sum reason i always get back into 10 years about this time of year. kinda ironic

  • Dude me too, not even kidding.

  • Not gonna lie looks and sounds like hes lip singing. thats how good he is. LOVE 10 YEARS!

  • ur mom

  • what is this song about?

  • Becoming aware of the fact that at all times we sit halfway between absolute beauty and absolute horror. We are a current flowing through 2 dualistic magnets of emotion; Fear and Love. The final line "enduring my biggest fear love"

  • wow that sounds beautiful

  • Sounds like a pretty good take on it .

  • i miss the dreads
