That was a crazy day for weather all over Berkshire County. On Prospect Hill in Stockbridge the plows had to clear the road of 7 inches of hail. Merrill Rd. from 540 to Plastics Ave. was pretty bad too.

City should buy the FD & PD a stretcher or two for each unit, so they don't have to drag people through the water like teabags. A few bucks worth of equipment would have made it so much easier.

Why does everyone think they can drive in high water and why does everybody have to bring their dogs with them everywhere they go? Unless the dogs can't be trusted at home or you're going on vacation for a few days, their dogs would be safer left at home.
