  • one of my favorite music videos [ever].

  • ◕Hello people ◕‿◕

I believe someone will see it, it’ll make my day.

Music can makes you feel things that you don’t know how to describe.

Singing is a way to express oneself emotions through a song.

I want make my dream of singing a reality but so many people try to push me away from it.

Everyday I work so hard in my voice to get better.

I really want to become a singer but I really need your help.

I’ve uploaded some covers onto my YouTube channel and I'd like please you check it out.

    Thank you!!

  • 2:15 This looks like a warning about the illuminati

  • yeah these guys definetly take acid

  • Reminds me slightly of MGMT... just slightly.

  • @SadisticFangirl It does kinda sound like their less poppy stuff.

  • Scariest clip ever, damn!! But the music is great.

  • the first song i heard from them couple years ago.still fantastic!

  • Favorite Bands..Nirvana, Foster The People & Arcade Fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @callingqueen foster the people really? compared to arcade fire and nirvana? to each his own i suppose

  • this song finds answers for empty souls

  • Arcade fire + Foster the people are my new favorite. They should collaborate. I like Arcade's fire Songs better, but I love how unique FTP songs are.

  • @TheAndyschoonover2 haha, mine are too...but i love nirvana and foo fighters too!!

  • one of their best !!!!!!! :)

  • I love the intensity in this song.. I sing those french lyrics over and over, 'UN! DEUX! TROIS! DIT MIROIR NOIR... black mirror...'

  • Reminds me of Bioshock.........

  • Arcade Fire will stay as The Beatles still stay

  • @loouis33 They said that about Duran Duran...

  • @geraldheffel you shut your whore mouth

  • and shoot someone in the knee with arrows

  • i like this so much it just makes me wana punch babies

  • @LestatVonD haha i second that

  • First album was better...

  • @geraldheffel I disagree. Have you heard 'The Well And The Lighthouse' ?

  • vocalist's voice sounds like Bowie

  • Arcade Fire :))) This is my 2nd fave song by them

  • I feel sorry foe people that don't every album.

  • my math teacher is the only other person i know that loves this band....=)

  • @halfsizedlife You should know more people :P

Just kidding, that's a cool teacher dude :D

  • A Series of twisted tales from the dark mind of Charlie Brooker;

    Black Mirror: The National Anthem

    4th December on 4.

  • Un! Deux! Trois! Dis: Miroir Noir!

    Black Mirror!

Un! Deux! Trois! Dis: Miroir Noir!

    Black Mirror!

  • Arcade Fire is the only band I'd listen to be born and die.

  • @imedal92 lol i'd only listen to Radiohead...

  • stumbleupon brought me here

  • @cakemaster303 u mad?

  • motherfuckin Quebec

  • @OdeToNecrophilia

I'm sorry, I love Arcade Fire, but Radiohead have taken that spot already.

And: Portishead's right next to them.

Still, Arcade Fire are better than 90% of the «pop» crap out there.

  • Arcade Fire:

The World's most greatest and under-rated band ever.

  • @DarkUchiha95 winning the grammy for album of the year is underrated? Pretty sure they are one of the World's biggest bands right now lol

  • @mtlherbz Okay maybe it's just me then? I know no one else in the world who listens to them.

  • @DarkUchiha95 oh I see, maybe i hear them all the time because I live in Montréal :3

  • @mtlherbz Aha. I live in Los Angeles and people tend to listen to garbage here.

  • Awesomely creepy

  • Coldplay ad? Please.

  • arcade fire should combine all their music videos into a movie. cause it would b as trippy as THE WALL!

  • If I love Canada, is by Arcade fire, not Justin Bieber

  • @pamcartney when ever i tell people im from Canada, they say "do you know justin beiber"

  • i love arcade fire...but this video and song scare me....love everything else though!

  • Watch this video, it'll blow your mind. Just type this in after .com

    /watch?v=x9c_zNhEgNo&feature=related

  • same song/video but more awesome control h++p://rorrimkcalb c0m/arcadefire.h+ml

  • Anyone find it weird how this only has 350,000 odd views?

  • Say to say this is the most talented, well put together band of our generation.

  • @OdeToNecrophilia Kings of leon? Manchester orchestra?

  • @gaeta34 nope!

  • @gaeta34 kings of leon getting to big for them to handle and cleveland orchestra is better than manchester orchestra in my opinion and them vs arcade fire cant happen because they are way too diffrent

  • @danielboone101 I disagree. Kings of leon may have their issues, but their still a really good band. Ill look up C. orchestra, but you really shouldnt be comparing bands to other bands. Their all way too different to begin with. agree to disagree?

  • rorrimkcalb

  • Holy shit... speechless.

Well, almost speechless. I still have plenty of praise available for this song, and this amazing band, who are awesome in concert. xD

  • WHY THE FUCK IS THERE A FULL EPISODE OF THOMMYDELAGHETTO WTV INSTEAD OF 30 SEC AD?

  • freaky as shit

  • @PochoElojo SHUT UP BITCH!

  • songs like this have a way of making me feel insignificant

  • Wow! These guys are great. I listen to hip hop more than anything else. But, after I saw their concert on palladia, I'm a fan. Big up AF!

  • Deep inside a person (the giant he climbs into) is the idea the tv gives them that they are insignifcant, not good enough (the image from the tv in place of the head, on the bottle to be drunk, both showing a dark, reduced figure). So they can't look at themselves anymore (on a security camera). Black mirror is water (I walk down to the ocean). The essential, essence of life, which this person is appealing to. But it doesn't care for bombs or pyramid schemes or any of the these modern things

  • I love how this looks so much like a real dream.

Not like people expect a dream will be.

  • @remainingoptimistic if you don't get this watch neighbourhood laika

  • tonight tonight tonight .... cant wait!!! just a tad excited :D

  • Arcade Fire albums/songs cannot and shall not be categorized in what's better.

  • To xkyle 16

Do you know what i don't understand? Why crap get nominated alongside this band .Katy Perry,Lady Antebellum come on!(Lady Gaga and Eminem had ok albums)

  • the string diminuendo through the octaves at the end is so beautiful!

  • Damn those pyramids!

  • Arcade Fire-my new favorite band

  • @ellenthompson123 been into them for years glad they have made the big time!!

  • the creepiest shiz evar

  • i lov it >< !! Haaaa

  • Kind of reminds me of Eraserhead.

    So awesome. :D

  • And I thought Tool had weird music videos......this is still a beast song though!

  • Was anyone else unnecessarily frightened by this video ? I mean, I love Arcade Fire but this actually creeped me right out :)

  • This is song is so amazing,, i love all of their albums!

  • full illuminati the butlers did it!!!

  • Voldemort at 1:23

  • It's like everyday Halloween.

  • @raven010891 Not really. Prose is reasoning and music can be objectively described. Words can be used for descriptions. Abstractly, singing or dancing cannot be used like prose.

  • Does he have a slight lisp?

  • @TheHurtables I like to think of it as a sexy voice amplifier.

  • im surprised at how many views this video has this is one of my favorite arcade fire songs...

  • <3

  • un deux trois dis mirror noir

  • I think we can all agree wiz khalifa blows.

  • This video kinda reminds me of The Smashing Pumpkins "Tonight, Tonight"... And pretty much anything Tim Burton, Which IS a good thing :/

  • Sketchy shit

  • I forgot how shit-hot this song is

  • look up "while the city sleeps - back when we knew", very similar big and colourful soundscapes!

  • Of the 44 dislikes, I wonder how many are members of Echo and the Bunnymen (RE: "Killing Moon").

  • omg ..

  • LE MIROIR CASSE, THE MIRROR CASTS MON REFLET PARTOUT!!!

  • ARCADE FIRE FOREVER!

  • I love the two lines that start with "shot by the security camera .... " This song is so relevant to the changes we have been living through in a post 9/11 world. This new existence is dark, mistrusting and paranoid. I feel like the song somehow unlocked this subconcious feeling that something is wrong below the surface.

  • mirror, mirror, on the wall, show me were them bombs will fall

  • lots of drugs...

  • Comment removed

  • @naseoj ONE TWO THREE SAY: BLACK MIRROR!

  • This is a new band that i can really get into. "I walked down to the ocean

    After waking from a nightmare

    No moon, no pale reflection

    Black Mirror, Black Mirror"

Love the lyrics. Reminds me of Edgar Allen Poe. I would love to see them live.

I actually recently wrote a song that is a reaction to this song.

  • @OsvaldoPaese I would definitely recommend seeing them live! I saw them this past April and it was by far the best concert I've ever been to.

  • O.O

  • SOUNDS LIKE ELO TO ME!!!!!!!!!!! AT LEAST INSPIRED BY THEM!

  • @ELOSHAZZY I know what you mean, especially with the drums in this song. I love both bands.

  • Video reminds me of "2001: A Space Odyssey". Anyone else get that vibe?

  • black mirror= television

blankness/bleakness of modern culture/system of understanding.

"tell me where the bombs will fall" = the limits of our understanding of modern war/tyranny

this, on neon bible, their most acerbically anti-war, anti-america album

  • i was sent here by a good friend, and i must say, this is good stuff! what other songs by this band are good? thx!

  • @killmeandit Start with their whole first album Arcade Fire - Funeral. There are only 10 songs on it. Believe it when I say, you won't have just one favorite song on that album. You will have ten.

  • lyrics are powerful, but i still don't no what the meaning behing black mirrow is ??

i have a few tjought what is may mean ??

    great band :D !!

  • @theacademyisforeva: Look at yourself in a black mirror. You will see nothing, meaning you should not judge yourself, which is exactly what everyone else should do when they look at you or others ( by looking through a black mirror). You will not see the same person staring back at you. Think of it as a blank slate.

  • @soulkitchen1979 thanks for making me understand, much appreciated :D

  • @theacademyisforeva No problem. That's my interpretation. If you ask someone else, they may have a different explanation but I'm glad you understand.

  • @lanseager The band doesn't totally rely on the bassist, but I still disagree with you. The entire band is full of people who are so talented. Everyone in the band (Almost everyone) plays multiple instruments!

  • @WoWmiester yes even the drummer plays strings and keyboards,,,,, strings play keyboards ,,,,some members as many as 8 instruments, ....horn section plays keyboard and one plays strings.... 2 members play in a band called Bell Orchestre.. heavy alternative jazz.. ..and that takes talent..

.totally remarkable .. never anything like it....and I go back to the 50's

  • Suddenly gone deaf...but can read....what a load of wan**rs

  • That old guy looks like a zombie Anthony Hopkins.

  • my next long screen play is going to be based on pretentious assclowns who talk about there screen plays on youtube comment sections. its gonna be a real winner. no biggie.

  • How could you not like this song? Oh wait ..... no wonder your hearing aid is turned down! This song is awesome! I'm basing my next short screen play on this master piece!

  • arcade fire fans should look up "while the city sleeps debut", similar music!

  • ahuev00oo !!! uno de los mas cabrones >_<

  • Oh i just figured out the main reason im not in love with this band. there bassist has no imagination. I listen pfunk, geddy lee from rush, primus, flea from rhcp and phish who all rock the bass and this guys is flat lining bad. I cant take that kind of music. I need the funk

  • @Ianseager Good bye then

  • who found this on stumble?

  • @datascatter

This band's music is generally very simple. Its success lies in righting well-crafted simple songs, with production that enhances that. I would disagree about this being anymore derivative than most pop music (I mean by pop music, commerical music).

  • @datascatter Derivative? Of what? I somewhat agree with the stylization part, although the underlying music is still pretty amazing. I think they cut down on the flashy production on the Suburbs.

  • ok, i fucked up the lyrics. my bad. amazing song though. arcade fire is fucking awesome! and we're both from montreal! woot woot.

  • un deux trois des mirroirs noirs!

  • Dear Merge Records, get them on Spotify now so that teenage Europe can enjoy their music too.

  • that pulled down the pants of my brain and blew my mind...

  • @xkyle16x 1. this song isn't on the suburbs

    2. the suburbs was a superior album to all of the other albums nominated

  • @hww82 Yeah, I'm a pretty big fan of Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and Lady Antebellum, and I had never heard of Arcade Fire before their nomination, but once I listened to the albums, even I said it deserved to win.

  • @hww82 nah man, Funeral was the best, the suburbs, then neon bible...

  • @Rishi13WaterFire although this may be true, I was talking about it being better than all the albums produced this year by any group or artist, besides maybe tsol

  • @hww82 It clearly isn't true, though. Neon Bible is far superior.

  • @xkyle16x LOL YEAH man, this from another album - Neon Bible, a very good one by the way!! Arcade Fire are an incredible band!!!

  • @xkyle16x this was well deserved considering how amazing funeral was/ how they still haven't sold out even though they're one of the most popular indie rock bands out there. they've stayed true to their own band, and it has paid off. and i commend arcade fire for making a 65 min long album. that made me quite happy, as there were hardly any filler songs

  • This song is honestly quite odd...but i like it s.n. Why does this man have a haircut like hitler......

  • fnejewlb ewlfj

  • @31337h4xor3, seriously dude...anything sounds good when you're high. Hardly the standard against which to measure things you like or dislike. Fair 'nuff that you don't dig Black Mirror. For me, it's the 1st song I ever heard them play live in 2005 and remains to this day the darkest, most intense and dramatic AF song. They used to alternate opening all gigs circa 2004-2007 with this or Keep the Car Running.

Un! Deux! Trois! Dis: Miroir Noir!

  • @31337h4x0r3 mehh this song is pretty blah, but their song the suburbs is amazing (especially if your high)

  • Talking about music is like singing about architecture.

  • @raven010891 - David Bowie

  • @raven010891 why not.

  • @raven010891 or cunting about swearing.

  • @raven010891 never heard house of the rising sun man?

  • @raven010891 Nice.

  • @raven010891 I write poetry about architecture...

  • @raven010891 so when we want to say something we have to do it in sing song?

  • @raven010891 dancing about architecture*

  • @Tengent i'm a mf kite.

  • @raven010891 Maybe you meant to say, "talking about music is like DANCING about architecture." As the quote originally quips.

  • @raven010891 lol what do you mean? I'm curious..

  • Un! Deux! Trois! Dis: Miroir Noir!

One two three, say: Black Mirror!

  • great band, though all their songs are quite... depressing... xD

  • I had suck an amazing case of goosebumbs at 3:00, as if he was staring into Heaven itself
