@mikester76 no no, i was just asking cause i want to get a small bike soon, i was just asking cause i have some worries about riding, sorry you misunderstood me
TTR's are listed by Yamaha as a PLAY BIKE FOOL. There is nothing even remotely competition quality about any part of a TTR. AS for 76 MPH, I have to laugh at you so hard I almost pee'd my pants... My completely tricked out YZF 450 will only do 70 MPH on pavement. With all the mods I have done, it dynos out at 63 HP. A TTR 110 has 12 - 14 hp give your head a shake fool.
If you are gonna make shit up at least make it believable.
i own both a yz 125 and a crf 250 and evry time i got to the garage i halph to do somthing to the crf where as my yz only needs a little spark plug cleaning every now and then so dont hate 2 strokes in my opinion 2 strokes beat 4s oh and halph the people that say 4s are better are too scared to ride a two stroke
it dont give you a sore back your arms and legs just act like shocks and make your ride more smooth and it makes its easier to control the bike over woops
I'm sure it depends on the terrain. I stay on the seat most of the time, too, but when you want go positively fly over the really rough stuff, standing helps. When you're standing, the front and back could be rocking up and down hard enough to buck you right off the machine, but you'll only be touching the pegs, which aren't moving an inch. Almost any terrain can be taken while seated, but that same terrain can be taken much faster when standing.
a lower cc 2 stroke is absolutely no way the same as a higher cc 4 stroke... yes they may race together but not at all are they the same. 2-strokes are snappier 4-strokes more torque in mid-ranged gears and 4-strokes are less expensive and can last a lifetime if you treat them right. and 2 strokes are a whole different riding experience
other way around bro. you can run an mx 2 stroke forever.. an mx 4 stroke has a bunch of work to do in 20-40 hours ride time. if you treat them right you get maybe 80 hours. the 2 stroke you can ride till it dies like 3 or 4 years later, and the rebuild is so much cheaper. i can take it to any shop in my town to rebuild for a few hundred bucks. i love both 2 and 4.. but i would go with the 2 for less weight and maintenance =]
lmao your a dumb ass, you obviously don't know shit about bikes, if you maintain a 4 stroke they will last for years on years. 2 strokes usually have to be rebuilt every year, sometimes sooner. You know absolutely nothing about 2 strokes now 4 strokes. Lol this guy is epic fail.
HAH. ive had my yz125 for 3 years and nothing is wrong. no rebuild, and who gives a fuck if i play a game? yes them trail bikes last forever like my friends crf150f. but my crf250r needs a new piston and rings every 40 HOURS. the valves need tightening every 5-10 HOURS. even if its well maintained. your on too broad of a scale here. im talkin mx bikes. besides theres fewer parts to worry about on a 2 stroke. you got the piston, carb, tranny, and reeds. unlike the 4 strokes u got those stupid
ass valves that need tightening, the pistons are soo much smaller. have you seen the piston in 250f? its like an inch thick!, it needs replacing too much and it costs too much money to replace! you have to change your tranny and engine oil. its bullshit! and now the new bikes have fucking efi which is a pain
in the ass! also, might i add that sneezing at a 2-stroke will start it? you have to fuck around with a 4stroke for a total of 10 minutes at times! just to get the piece of shit started, and then your so damn tired you cant even ride the rest of your moto properly! i think its you who knows shit about bikes. "epic fail" wow your a queer.
correct but obviously you never had to rebuild a 4stroke engine. they are much more expensive to rebuild. you can require repairs that come close to the bikes total cost..
on a 2stroke, yea you have more maintenance , you have to rebuild the top end every year or so but it is standard procedure and it only costs liek 100 dollars for a new topend.. 4s are definitely pricier.
they arnt nearly equivalent, 125 2 stroke makes roughly the same horsepower as a 250f, though the 125 handles better and is lighter, the 250 has better power, smoother easier power that is more usefull, the 250 has more torque in any gear while the 125 will just kick at peek.
250 two stroke is about the same but just a few years ago a 250 could put out more 5-10 more horsepower than an early developed 450f
all the rest of the oil companies that produce 2 STROKE oil have to be eviromentaly friendly.
Companies that DO NOT produce friendly two stroke engine oil, should not be allowed to sell. (regulation should be that strict) Replace the oil NOT THE 2 STROKE ENGINE!!!
TWO STROKE ENGINE IS VERY EFFICIENT AND VERY LOW MAINTENACE! IT'S SIMPLY GREAT!!
..as much as I love 2 stroke bikes, they're (at least mine is..) simple, but extremely high maintenance. Very difficult to get tuned right and since they don't have a dedicated cylinder lubrication system like 4 strokes, they wear relatively fast. Also, efficiency is not one of its strong points - unburned fuel passes through each stroke straight into the exhaust, unless you're in the optimized section of the powerband (a fairly narrow section).

I agree with 2 stroke oils having to pass a clean burning test before its sold on the shelfs...
You change your 4 stroke Top end for 1000.00, 2000.00 if you stick a valve and I will change my top end 2 stroke for 150.00 !!!
