I run a uniden pc68xl barebones with a 4 foot francis antenna. and even up in the hills in arkansas, truckers tell me that i sound loud and proud even though i might be 20 miles away from another station.
i have the uniden washington,cobra cam 89, rocye, midland 13-878 all bases,and a panisonic base that needs fixin. plus a few cheap mobiles. i like the washington the best . right now i run off a dipole. that all some place gets to use for commmunication do to no cell phone use.

I own a handheld CB radio, kinda on a budget as far as the CB scene goes but I am on it and hope to expand soon. Meet you on the air, 10-4.
