I remeber watching this fight. It wasn't a double knockdown. Commentators got it right, Powell slipped, he never got hit. Bundrage was the one who got hit and went down. Bad quality so hard to tell, and the ref had bad angle that's why he didn't know what to call, but it wasn't a double KD.
It is double knockdown "KD", and not Double-knockout "KO." They both got knockdown by one another and hit the canvas, but since none of them remained on canvas for the count out, the ref has no choice but to let the fight continue. This situation doesn't happen often (Contenders hitting G-spots instantaneously at the same time,) but once and if it does; refs usually take the rational way and make no calls, unless of course, one the fighters doesn't get off the canvas.
Usually no ruling in situations like that. It happened so fast u must have camera to figure out who made the connection first. And still, u must also know that the second contender was on the feet before he initiated last connection and went down. AS they said "Last Man Standing" one of the contenders must remain on canvas for the Ref to call for any ruling. Anyway, the guy in the red trunk did suffer more and never regained from the 1st KD.
that happened to me on wii sports real funny

Keep watching it every day for as long as it takes and you will see the double knock down gradually as realisation sifts into your sluggish brain.
