for those asking about the insane graphics, i believe this is the realism mod which unlocks the engine's true potential. when the game was created, its technology was years ahead of its time. the developers didnt even bother to include ultra settings. but now we can enjoy them :)

no it wont run unless you buy vista! if you buy xp the specs "very high" wont be selectable so get vista 64 bit (very important!) coz 32 bit wont notice your 4 gb ram. only 3.2 of it.

Really, anything in the 200s series should be able to handle crysis on very high, even an 8800 gt can. You're probably being bottlenecked by something else, what are your other system specs?

I have a single core AMD Athlon FX-57 cpu, and 2 gigs of ddr ram, lol so yeah probably bottlenecked, I guess I'm just ignorant about thinking the CPU should be good enough, as it is the fastest single core cpu ever made, and I spent $800 on it originally...I don't want to think that it's a piece of shit, being how much I spent on it.
