i cant really say 1 is better then another since 10 was good but it was really boring but i hate that only the ones fighting get EXP (it makes sense but its annoying) and i like that 13 gives EXP to everybody but the games was just too easy and gave u no freedom for the 1st half of the game was was just get from point A to point B, overall, i like 13 slightly more but 6 will always be the best to me

yeah because forcing somebody to switch outing that is 20 levels behind because now the game says that person is useful? FF6 had it and that is the best rpg ever (at least in my opinion) FF7 had it, personally i dont want to grind because im 3/4 done with the game and thats when the rest of the characters become useless, that is just a cheap way to artificially make the game longer, if they want the game to be long, then make the bosses stronger

The old games that force you to bring back low level characters is the games fault. Not your own for not leveling that character up. But thats not the reason why people do it. Why do you create a NEW save data each time you save? You know you can just save over a previous file. xD.
That could be the reason why you get stuck sometimes, as the console needs to add yet another file. Either that, or it is just something to do with the PS3.

I have the game and it starts slow but picks up later down the line as you progress thru the story. But I will say it's better than FF12, also to me this game's not worth the 60 buck pricetag maybe wait to the price drop or rent. Luckily I have a GAMEFLY so I can return if I get tired of the game.

The only thing that keeps this play-through bearable to watch is your amazingly funny commentary "Final Fantasy 13 and the children of the corn choir!" I played 4 hours of this game and put it aside to send it back. I am glad I just rented it.

The problem with ff13 is not the complexity. The problem is, that it develops dams slow. You can use all of the battle/gameplayoptions after 10-15+ hours.

The lack of meaningful story development isn't a helpful cause either.
I liked FF until #X. But now I am only forcing myself to keep watching this playthrough, cause some people (like you) keep mentioning the game will get better, later on. I am almost bored senseless by now.

@IneedAbttrscreenname well i own all the FF games and so far this game herer and number 7 r the best in the trilloge this one has a great story line as u progress in the game the combos of attks effects this game in a big way so i think phil is doing the best he can hell find the puzzles later on more challangeing than that in GOW3 Phill keep it up ur doing great

The only thing that keeps this play-through bearable to watch is your amazingly funny commentary "Final Fantasy 13 and the children of the corn choir!" I played 4 hours of this game and put it aside to send it back. I am glad I just rented it.

for some reason the battle theme music is really catchy 0.0 on another note... i like the game, im about 7 hours or so in and i just got odin for lightning battles can get a little bit repetitive but its fun.. and i think the story is interesting... not the best story in a final fantasy game but still entertaining

Fucking linear. Dude im having a blast with this game. Lets not forget every FF was kinda like this outside of 12. Which 12 sucked donkey Xbot balls. And thats some sad sagging bot balls right their. But its a tad linear but not much more then the past ones of the older gens. And its a great game and story and system and look, which is what FF is all about. Dude Xbots suck but its on both no one has a reason not to play this!!!

accually guys this game is really fun, i havent watched what phil is doing, but its more fun if u fight all the enemies, and fyi, each area takes awhile to finish so phil, keep that in mind before you start saying the game is boring lol and im about maybe 5 hours ahead of u, and im nowhere near 1/6 the way done

The problem with ff13 is not the complexity. The problem is, that it develops dams slow. You can use all of the battle/gameplayoptions after 10-15+ hours.

the camera is not the best, but phil is fucking up the controlls too. He forgets almost all the time, that you can rotate the camera.

Oh no. GoW DOES have its boring parts. Particularlly when you start fighting more powerful enemies that take like 300 plus attacks + 5 successful quicktime events to kill, and their compulsive need to put hoards of lame ass zombies in spots where they would of been better off just letting you explore and take in the scenery. -_-
