  • Fucking pigs. Keep up the good work.

  • Nice policeman, didn't harass you.

  • Good cop

  • the officer pretty much just stated, awareness of your surroundings are what get people to slow down and keep everyone safe. so another words radar detectors should be legal 50/50, since they're just an extra set of eyes on the road? which do not harm or stop an officer from doing a job. They also pick up Construction zones to help drivers and steep grades/hills emergency vehicles. it wouldn't be right to not legalize Such devices. They just tell you what you are not able to see just yet..

  • why are all the peoples comments down below a bow to your ego when clearly theres nothing wrong with what your doing. this is equal to like helping the homeless, or holding a door open for someone . Its a good deed and like the cop said your slowing people down.

  • That was an unusually nice LEO. lol

  • well done;) good reaction from the smoky bear;)

  • What's funny is that you said everything you could possibly think of to try to irritate this cop...And what's interesting is how you go running to your truck just because the cop parked next to it. If a cop comes to question you for holding a sign on the side of the road you call "foul". ...go after the real problems in law enforcement instead of messing with this b.s. Or don't...make this your crusade. Hey, we all need to feel good about something right? ;-)

  • you don't find a nice cop like that everyday many cops would of tased him no questions asked

  • Thanks for the public service! Too bad you're not in my neighborhood.

  • great work cheers

  • this is so awesome!!! we need more of these guys.

  • Police officers DO NOT get traffic tickets as part of their "benefit package" so right there the system is flawed. Traffic tickets are an "all American ripoff" and are nothing more than "highway robbery". Police departments have made traffic citations their #1 priority over protecting the public - basically they are persecuting the people who they are paid to protect. More people should so what this man is doing to prevent motorists from police entrapment - after all we do live in the USA!

  • PWND

  • Great video! I wasn't expecting that cop to come over and thank you! Usually they wont even let you film them.

  • wow, you met a real cop in texas!

  • Neat cop - either he was legit or putting on a good show; either way it was nice to see you being congratulated for slowing people down.

  • good cop i liked him

  • Keep up the good work. As I see it you are serving three purposes. 1. Exorcising your Rights as a US citizen 2. Getting people to slow down. 3. Teaching the police that they have to operate WITH-IN the law. I'm dieing to know how the judge ruled on your citation.

    Kory

  • lol this guy either needs LAID or MEDICATION. One of the two. OR he needs a job. Poor bastard.

  • All I can say is, "Check out the comments on pfleeb's page."

  • @SpeedTrapAhead "Do you go to parties and tell people to watch out for drunk people too?" thats a great idea! This guy is such an idiot he attempts to counteract the productivity of actual productive people and he himself looks like a set of wasted space. Please sir with all your determination go get a job as a cop or a crossing gaurd, oh but i bet you dont want to do that why? because your just trying to ruffle feathers being a malicious prick.

  • Thank you for getting to the real problem, unaware unalert drivers. Speeding is dangerous in lakeway because of the deer mainly at night. I would never speed there at night or in the day. Spreading awareness about your surroundings is a good thing. You make people think: well that wont happen again, and the people who are not alert get the ticket they deserve!

  • I'll give in my two cents on Lakeway. A) hill country B) deer C) strict cops. It is true that they have difficulty finding anything better to do than run speed traps other than the rare occurrence that a drug dealer is reported in the area or the more often difficulty with "seasonal" drunk drivers coming from events along the main highway. The hills and deer are bad enough to worry about.

  • Good job, the LEO reacted correctly.

  • Or maybe those of you who don't live in this community shouldn't shitting your opinion about it. If you listen to any of his videos you would know that he doesn't advocate speeding but instead promotes safe driving and is helping save the tax paying citizens a large amount of money. The lakeway police rely far to heavily on revenue from speeding tickets that only 1 to 5 miles over. That, my friend, is ridiculous.

  • that cop did the right thing!!!!!!!

  • Do you go to parties and tell people to watch out for drunk people too?

How about going to a restaurant and warning folks to chew 32 times before they swallow to avoid choking.

    Get a job.

  • Do you go from website to website, making useless comments?

Are you one of those drunk people at the party?

Did you nearly die from choking on your own cud?

  • Your a Douche! My best friend was killed by a SPEEDING idiot in 2006!

  • And just how does me holding a sign, getting people to slow down, make me a douche?

  • I saw you today (3/29) and we REALLY appreciate what you are doing! My husband got a ticket the day we moved to Lakeway. We've learned our lesson but going 30 on Lakeway Blvd is still pretty tough to do. I have to ride my brakes most of the way.

    Thanks again!!!!!

  • you were just asking for trouble you idiot....if people are not going the speed limit then they should be pulled over.

  • No... I was asking for attention! Attention to the fact that an overly large percentage of local revenue is coming from speeding tickets. And attention to the fact that the speed limits and traffic signs are inconsistent and probably don't correlate with traffic studies. ATTENTION to issues is what gets things changed.

You don't know anything about this community, it's residents, it's officers, how legal proceedings in this community are handled, etc.

There are other, more serious issues!

  • Or you could stand infront of a speed limit sign and warn people of the legal speed. What do you think?
