Are you talking about the laserdiscs pics at the beginning? This video onward are all from "Super Darius Perfection", so I kept the photos of it in with the first video from it.
I made up the Super Darius intro/advertise video on my own since the intro was missing from the laserdisc. I added the scans from the game just to make this series more complete.
I love this song and this game. The soundtrack is in surround sound and the game is worth buying just as a music CD.
Yes, I was :P. I though they were just more photos that you've scanned in and put them in the Zone A video instead of the Media and Advertise one. It definitely looks like a pretty good title to play. This game has a soundtrack in surround sound? That's pretty incredible to hear!
I have seen a little bit of that critisim myself, but it wasn't heavly based on having arcade sound. It's interesting that folks often demand arcade-perfection for the home ports, yet have complaints over this since it's too alike to it. I don't know if I can consider it to be one of the GREATEST soundtracks in a video game, but it does have some nice pieces in it. OH! I can't wait until the soundtrack is released!
Hm. It seems that you've put in some of the media scans in two places by accident or without realization (perhaps?). The music for the cave stages is very fitting to be for a first (I like it when video games have suitable music for a first part, especially if the piece is good). I recongnize King Fossil from the "Get Turbocharged!" promotional video. It's (a he?) is a pretty interesting colecanth boss, too. The "anatomy" portion that they are fought in looks pretty cool, too.
I really don't see why they called it "Perfection." :S

I often see people criticize the game's soundtrack because it's almost identical to the arcade, only in surround sound.
But this sounds perfect to me and sounded way better than any arcade game I had ever played when I first got it back in the day.
As far as I'm concerned it's one of the greatest game soundtracks ever made.
The PSG soundtrack of the HuCard version is also amazing. I've got all the tracks recorded and hope to have an mp3 available soon.
