this game IS mario sunshine. . . everything including the environments,gameplay,powerups­,graphics,music,visual camera movement are just like sunshine

@SonicShenmue What exactly do you think they have borrowed from Mario Galaxy? Sonic Adventure (1/DX or 2) already had a number of (boss ?) fights where the camera was oriented such, that by pressing left and right you would run in a circle around a pillar or boss. Remember the ghost chase?

I think all they have here is really classic 3rd person 3D plattforming mechanics, which isn't necessarily a bad thing if the content is just right - and knowing shin'en i expect it to be.

@3yE Hmm, there could be many games that Shin'en got their inspiration from to make Jett Rocket but here are some obviuos things I spoted.

1. The look is somehow very similar, because it uses lighting in a very special way.

2. The way the camera moves (not only in boss fights) is also very similar. Esspeically at 0:40 when they preview the track and show the dolphin, which is facing to the camera look very much like how they introduced the Manta or Fluzzard in Galaxy 1+2.

@3yE 3. The switchpuzzle at 1:16 is also very similar to what you see in SMG (with those blue ?-pedals). And when you`ve done the "puzzle" the way the game gets freezed and how the camera moves is very much like Galaxy.

I know there is enough new things in this game but still the similarities to Galaxy are IMO there. Still looks really good and I look forward to it! There could be worse games to get inspiration from then SMG ;) I look forward to this game just because the first two video look +
