the chords are Amaj7- B-7 - E7 for those who know the names of chords. It's good for people to know what they're playing so they can use them in different contexts and recognize common progessions, like this one. It's basically a ii-V-I in they of A looped over and over. The last part is a iii-vi-ii-V.

i think the convention is to refer to the high E string as the first string and the low E as the sixth string.

On a guitar, the strings are labelled backwards, starting on high e, it's 1 e 2 b 3 g 4 d 5 a 6 e, Just like on tabs, all of the strings are upside down. :) Hope that helps.

I've seen the 2 videos;David's one & after abrinsfield video response and I think that the response(with a D#minor seems to be closer to the song!But with an AM7M,it seems to be nearly the same than the C#minor(wich is the real name of the very 1st chord that David plays).I think that the "rights" chords are,as victortolast12345 said:D#minor/Bm7 & E7/9!But what David did is a good idea to teach songs to the persons that want to learn to play!Good teaching!
