  • that's cool!

  • did you have trouble with the wiring of the tail light? have a similar project and cant get the bobber tail light working ? did you use a different wiring diagram?

  • Hey man iv got a kz440 also and i was wondering what it took to rejet ur carbs when u pulled out the airbox n put in pod air filters my email is wbanks32@gmail.com thanks!

  • sleeck bike man nice job! where did you get the seat??

  • @EpiclyReckless Thanks! It's just an ultima seat I got off ebay for like 40 bucks.

  • @jensejj85 found it! awesome thanks much(:

  • runnin the suicide shift looks clean nice job

    -flipz

  • shit cool

  • SUPER CLEAN

  • turned out bitchin' nice job bike

  • Nice bike, should made those wheels black!!!

  • I love everything about it.

  • What's goin on just wondering what jets you have in there. Pilot and main. I would appreciate it. Nice bike too mine is almost done. Same bike.

  • @nutz4polaris Go read my message to Jake you fuckin' pussy. I'll bet you ride a 'Big Wheel' too doncha'?

  • i like everything about it.Except the suicide shift. It looks cool as hell.I guess im just not cordinated enough to have to reach back to shift and also ride one handed while I shift.but thats just my preference.bike looks really tough.like you should be riding with a helmet with a spike in it.lol

  • my fist roadbike was a kz400,but it was nothin like this!! tough motor and sounds great. love the o.d. green paint. sweet.

  • Did you weld right to the existing swing arm?

  • Great looking bike, i've never tried a jockey shift but it looks fun!

as for the rude comments, WTF? it's a cool bike and he did all the work himself. why dis him?

  • Those of you on here that are impressed with this, it's only because your last bike a few months ago was a colorful pedal powered 'Big Wheel' by Marx. And none of you can claim to have had anything more than 50cc's between your tiny legs... I can see how this toy might cause you to drool and maybe even soil your diapers.

  • I got an 81 kz440 that my wife used to ride and now she has moved on to something bigger that ive been wanting to do something like this with. Looks kool and thanks for the ideas.

  • WizardOfChicamunga is a fag, he sounds like a rich bitch with no sense of style or a brain for that matter. great work on the bike bro, i got the same bike same style, i love it.

  • @jakeott6969 You dumb fuck! You wouldn't know 'style' if it walked up to you and bit you on your stupid ass.

  • @jakeott6969 Here's an idea for you, you jack-off dickhead. If you wanna' bob somethin' why doncha' go to the nearest McDonald's and 'bob' for french fries in their deep fryer?

  • Back when certain manufacturers built 'em to be shifted by hand (suicide) they gladly would not have done so if they had an alternative at the time. To make a modern machine try to imitate the pre-technology is just outright stupid. Only a anencephalic may find building it a rich experience. As well as thinking the remarks of similarly afflicted individuals such as "hey, cool dude!" an extremely noble and rewarding experience. So long kiddies! See ya' in the funny papers.

  • @WizardOfChicamunga wizard is a homo!

  • have you had any problems with the welds on your rear end? i was always told that you shouldnt keep the swing arm when making a hardtail. from what i hear ir flexes the frame some and the welds dont like that

  • Not bad, but I think it looks slightly childish or toy-like without a rear fender of some sort. Maybe a sissy bar would work, too. Otherwise, great bike. Simple and clean.

  • Great job.....................

  • looks good dude

  • You took what was probably a piece of crap and made it yours. Nice job. I love seeing old bikes get a new life. There is no right way or wrong way...just your way!

  • @TupacBarack

    right on!

  • Is that a sportster tank? Did u extend the rear of the frame?

  • FUCK!!! When it started up, I was looking for Chitty Chitty bang bang.

  • nice work. pretty neat and rugged. hope you ride it a lot.

  • I like what u did with the bike. Bad ass job on your first build. Wish me luck on mine. I just got a free Kawasaki 440. Can't beat free

  • i got a question...how much rejetting did you have to do since it looks like you are running open headers?

  • @zx12ryder I didnt have to rejet it...its got 4" baffles in it, that seemed to make it run great.

  • @jensejj85 maybe thats the prob with my cb450 ...i am sure it is...i am running just header pipes so it has no back pressure to help up in the higher ranges.....may buy some shorty mufflers but need to measure the diameter of my header pipes first this weekend.

  • i love it!.....hoping to get my skills up to par to make my own bobber.

  • love the stance.

  • I think if You built this Yourself be Proud. It's a cool bike I like it, and the most important thing is that's what You saw in your mind and brought it to life. I want one.

  • i drove a bobber once before i knew what to look for in a bike... The guy grinded off the rear bit of the frame including where the rear shocks bolted on. The dumbass used thin, tiny little bolts from menards to bolt the shocks to the frame... I went down the road on it and hit like 100 before i bounced up off the seat and luckily got back on. No rear fender and the cut ends on the frame were sharp. Could have got pinched between that and the rear tire.. Good way to rip your balls off:D Nice BTW

  • I dont like kz440s but that is a nice bike bro. Good job

  • thats pretty sick man. id put a stubby back fender on it so you bounce your ass onto the tire. it would suck to tear yourself a new one.

  • I just got on ebay and found a front and rear chain drive sprocket for the kz. When they arrived it was just a matter of switching out the belt drive sprockets with the chain drive, and putting a new chain on. Pretty simple. Good luck and thanks for the nice comments.

  • what do you think is going to happen to you when your ass slips off the seat & on to that back tire? wouldn't want to be you when it happens

  • @starbuck680 That would only happen to some dumbass noob rider. lol

  • @tangoAlfa11 you have to be a dumbass to ride a bike without a back fender on it. you never know what's going to happen when you ride a bike. maybe you'll hit a big pot hole or something & your ass bounces off the seat & on to the back tire. you never know. it's stupid to ride a bike like that

  • @starbuck680 Not everyone is afraid of what could happen the way you are. If your afraid of getting hurt you may want to stay at home.

  • @tangoAlfa11 It's not about being afraid, it's about not doing stupid shit that will get you hurt for no reason what so ever.

  • Awesome bike! You have inspired me. I am building a very similar bike. Could you tell me what I need for the chain/sprocket conversion? I lowered it and now the belt is rubbing. And as you already know I won't be able to replace the belt when it breaks. Thanks

  • Nice build!!

  • out of everything on youtube, this is my favourite!

  • Yeah it was a belt drive to start with. For the jockey shift i took the original shifter and cut off part of it then took the piece of tubing and put the modified shifter into it, hammered it down and plug welded it. Then when i put it on i just put it where it was comfortable.

  • That wasnt a belt drive to start was it?..how did you mount the jockey shifter?

  • Beautiful bike

  • Love it

  • sick bike, love the clip-ons with that frame. completely raw and perfect

  • Excellent project, I just bought a bike in pieces and hope to get an end result similar to yours, great work!

  • Looks great.

  • great job keep at it!!

  • Sweet Scooter! Might want to put a small rear fender. It sucks getting hit with road debri. Congrats on your first build, welcome to the club!

    Best wishes in the future.

  • Nice job. I like how you kept the stock swing-arm; but made it a hard tail. Looks good.

  • too bad it doesn't sound as good as it looks.

  • Kick ass. What you did there, is what a lot of people try to do........You really pulled it off.............Damn , thats cool.

  • i like it

  • what a great job, nice and simple, clean and done right, this is a hell of a bike, you got skills jens..very very good job.

  • its lovely, I got a kz 1000 cant wait custom mine, give me some pointers.

  • where did you get that frame or didi you make it yourself?

  • you've got skills

  • slick little bob

  • that's a pretty good idea with the way you made it a rigid. I would have never though to just weld bars to the swinger

  • great job! I bet it's a blast to ride. I can't get over how fast these are when tuned right.

  • Sweeet..........

  • Great job!Looks awesome, I just finished a Kz440 bobber myself,
