I do no think there should be a Rango 2. what on earth would it be about, plot wise? the conflict was completely resolved; he found his identity. a sequel would just be copying the original's themes. just because a movie is good does not mean it should have a sequel. some of the best movies ever made never had and never will have a sequel. it's pretty much a modern occurrence; a fashion.

@bobinschool After a quick try I think the chords are Dm then Am mostly untill about 0:55 where it goes Am, Gm then Dm and after the solo I just think it goes up from Dm to Em, Am to Bm, Gm to Am. Sorry if this doesn't make much sense. And the beginning is D A with single notes. No idea on the solo sorry.

Ok for all you hacks who dont know a thing about movies, Rango was obviously a tribute/homage to old Western movies with Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef (The Rattlesnake) and the like. Its taking an old problem and turning it into something clever, witty, and interesting. It wasnt really trying to do anything new in terms of story, but rather do something new in terms of how the story was prepared and presented.

It was a parody. A clever tribute. I thought it was AMAZING and so is the soundtrack.

People.. Hans Zimmer music is amazing one way or another. You either have to have a great imagination or you have to watch the movie. His music goes with the scenes that makes a movie. In some spots of Rango his music went brilliantly with the scene, gave me goosebumps honestly. But his music is a countable for who listens to it and how its used.
