@Omniayt I thought it was pretty obvious that he’d kill Fredo. I also KNEW from the moment he first said, “That’s my family, Kay. That’s not me,” that HE would end up becoming the Don. What’s amazing with these films is that nearly everyone knows what’ll happen, even if they’ve never even heard of them before. Yet they WORK because they’re so well told by Francis Ford Coppola, well-acted by Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, etc. HOW things happen is more important than WHAT happens.
