  • i saw the president

  • Canada may be part of kyoto, but we've literally done nothing to cut c02 levels.. If anything they've risen. At-least America is straight up about about their policies, instead of being Hippocrates about it.

Also: Screw china and their coal plants.

  • Good video! Is it possible that i can receive your tekst(my englisch hearing isn't that good :S)??

  • The Kyoto agreement exempts corporations from direct punishment. Instead the burden is placed on the tax payer. Humanity is not the enemy. Lack of understanding and morality is the problem.

  • watch?v=bXNFl6Ft5Hk&feature=youtu.be

  • The Kyoto agreement is pointless ... it's not gonna help, it will only drain our money. We'll help the environment OUR way. No need to sing hippy agreements that make us pay huge penalties if we don't reach the goal. Kyoto is deemed by many to be a flawed attempt to address climate change. Unless the biggest polluters are on board for any agreement, it really does not help if the smaller polluters take action or not.

Most countries do not lived up to the obligation of the treaty.

  • We should've signed that piece of paper...and not meant our targets like most of the countries who signed it. In fact, we did better on emission since kyoto than Canada, Australia, Spain, Turkey, Netherlands, Greece, and Austria. We actually would've accomplished our target if it were the same as Canada's.

  • Im from Canada. I say NO, to Kyoto. Good video. I can give my views if anyone wants, however, they will be convoluted.

  • Isn't Canada pulling out? Climate change is real but I think politicians are trying to hype it up to suit their own needs. Isn't that terrorism?

  • Global Warming is absolutely not happening because of man; it's a natural cycle that is now beginning to peak at its exponential point in warming, which than starts becoming noticeable by one generation. The government is milking the inevitable for their own agendas (profit and global political control). While the real science is covered up from the mainstream population.

  • My main man Bush at 1:10

  • Global Warming is a myth.

  • Way to go Canada, RIP global warming-

  • @kingcharliemain: sickening how you are so ignorant.

  • Fuck Kyoto it's just another scam by the U.N. and the dictators, thieves and mass murders of the 3rd world extort money from the former Western World and distroy their industry.

Fortunately for them the west has gutless liberal socialist running those nations who are willing to sell their people out for personal gain. Garage like Al Gore, David Suzuki and Daulton Mcginty.

To hell with the U.N., Africa and all the other rats of the 3rd world.

  • I spy with my little eyes......a MIDDLE finger! :O

  • Thy are people so naive to blame the US when the worlds NUMBER ONE EMITTER China can go on together with countries like India and Brazil and insist on beeing viewed as "development countries" when their industries emit on such a large scale!

The US together with EU, Canada and Japan would be the only regions in the world that would be under reduction restrictions. While countries like China and India polute with their hands washed its sick!

(By the way Im from Denmark)

  • @flemmong

China is number one because of the Chinese population (1,5 billions).

The USA is by far the number one emitter in proportion of the population, not surprising these pigs are too fat to walk, they need their car even to cross the street...

  • @Freez57fr Lol. Per capita, Canada is the third largest emitter. Barely behind the U.S. Australia is first. Go back to drooling to the xenophobic cbc.

  • Nice job with the Halo music!

  • My geography teacher showed this in class, but he obviously didn't know about Bush at 1:09

  • Very good but wish you spoke a little slower!

  • 1:10

  • lol wut? @1:09

  • The Planet is now cooling.

  • Sounds like Halo -_- lol

  • lol at 1:11:p

  • cant hear a godamn thing with the music

  • The predictions made by the writers of this fish wrap have yet to be verified. According to predictions made by the paper the Maldives should already be underwater........ They aren't. The well know medievel warming cooling cycle that took place does not show up on their graph. The paper was never subjected to standard scientific review, and what review there was had active suppression of dissenting views. The B>S> Flag is a waving.

  • Now we are in year 2010, have you seen/read the internet emails between the East Anglia Univ. IPCC, NASA and UNCCC? If you still believe in "man" made global warming or "The Inconvenient Truth" then your ability to discern fact from religious cult/guilt has been lost. Kyoto steals landowners rights & allows International Corps to continue polluting & robbing poor. All based on false/doctored "Green" science. You need to wake up, it is a ruse. PLEASE RESEARCH FOR YOURSELF. Do Fall for this.

  • THE AMERICANS WON'T PLAY ME THE VIDEO!!!!

  • Halo theme song was a brilliant idea

  • America soon be an destroyed crap.

  • loving the halo theme tune

  • @Syncdev and what, you're a master geologist? You're here to tell us all about normal temprature changes based on rates of time compared to not just the change of the axes of Earth but its wobble also? If you can compute that, please tell me what is a more suitable temprature difference over a period of geological time. Also, once you have that figured out, why don't you come up with a FEASABLE option to combat "climate change," one that doesnt include breaking World powers.

  • @niterider6 why does there need to be world powers? It is methodology like that which causes hindrances in the progress of humanity. America is the only country which refuses the kyoto protocol because we refuse to allow other countries we label "Impoverish" to flourish. We fear that the other countries which are advancing may one day supersede us. I wait for the day another country over shadows the United States to prove that we are not the only ones capable of greatness.

  • @35mmpaintbrush It is the nature of order and of governments in general to produce a select few with power. For those to go against the natural order is usually suicide, literally. Look at all those who have tried to overthrow government, they are slaughtered or then opposed by their newly gained subjects. As for human progress, you are foolish to think we will all be equals one day, humans are base, petty creatures that will never move past their feelings. What do you have against America?

  • @niterider6 We don't need to be equal, but simply work with each other. I have against America it's pompous attitude toward the rest of the world. I have against America the idea that the people like to blame the world and the president for things the people have done to themselves and to each other. Select few with power sounds like a dictatorship it sounds like one ruler for all. Democracy is suppose to be by the people for the people but the people aren't doing anything because of complacency

  • @35mmpaintbrush Indeed. You have found the bane of Democracy, be it direct or representitive; which is complacency. But to suggest that America deserves to fall because of its arrogence? No one is ever perfect, so why would a government, run by people be different? We have to accept that and work on our mistakes, for you to just point blame and hope for America's downfall is just proving your point that all people look for a scapegoat. Be the exception!

  • @niterider6 We aren't doing anything about the problems in this country that is my point. There is no scapegoat in my thoughts I know that we as a people are to blame which includes me. If America does not get rid of its arrogance and work with other countries like a more productive Manhattan project we are doomed to fall to another country who wishes to advance without the miles of red tape found in America.

  • So most of the countries in the world can cooperate for a common goal, even if they aren't entirely succesful, that's reassuring.

Wether it be to stop global warming or to help third world countries I think it's a step in the right direction. They need to cooperate over more things.

How disappointing of America though, they seem to be more and more backwards with each passing year.

  • @Shalek The U.S. didn't ratify the treaty because it would bankrupt us in vain. In other words you're just allowing countries that pollute less than the goal to: a) engage in emissions trading. b) pollute more. Although well intentioned, the Kyoto protocol is not economically feasible, that's why I think Copenhagen Consensus is a more effective way to come about this problem, and the US won't have to go bankrupt in doing so.

  • @mana2432 Very interesting stuff, thanks.

  • @Shalek no problem, I used to see it the same way too.

  • wow really the halo theme song lol

  • great job man ... but you were a bit excited while reading the text ... maybe you should choose a better backup music .!

  • ha ha ha, see 1:10

  • I IS ASHAMED 2 BE AMERICA!!!! WHY IS US AMERICA SO IGORENT IDIOT RETARTTED MUC FAG! us americans AND australians need to join this.

  • @cpretartedmuch Australia joined :]

  • awsome.

  • @cpretartedmuch The Aussies are already a part of it mate.

  • I spotted Bush giving the finger! xD

  • Cut down on Carbon Dioxide? So basically death to all humans...in case you didnt pay attention in 2nd grade..carbon dioxide is what we breathe out. How ironic the kyoto protocol will expire at the end of 2012

  • money cannot buy natural environment. US and China....come on! ...Australian who cares.

  • @tokyocityrat "australian who cares" wtf are u talking about idiot faggot retarted dick

  • makes me disappointed to be american

  • @Daciana93

I wish you tree hugging liberals would stay out of politics. Your agenda really sends us all back...

    Global warming isn't real.

  • Really? So the fact that the oceans r rising & florida will be under water in about 50 years or less isn't real? Wow! The fact that dying polar bears are being filmed all the time 3 miles in the ocean from any land because they were sleeping on an iceberg that broke off is fake? We must all be crazy! There must be people with AMAZING photo editing skills out there! If you find any of them PLEASE introduce me! I <3 photography and I would love to learn meet them! :]

  • IT had been admitted by conservatives such as glenn beck that the global temperature has risen 1.5 F in the past 50 years. Which im sure to you conservatives doesnt sound like much but you fucking idiots dont understand anything about geological time, and when the temp. of the earth rises 1.5 degrees in less than 50 years THATS NOT FUCKING NORMAL.

  • Yes but fallen in the past 10 years. If it was man-made co2. it would keep rising, but it hasn't. Im a conservative but I dont like Glen Beck

  • @Daciana93 dont be most countries failed to meet the protocol standards

  • @Daciana93

Then leave!... If the decisions of the United States was left up to you and your idiot friends we would all screwed!

  • 3/12/09 - australia has ratified the protocol and has 90 days for the ratification to be in force

  • ONLY USA DID NOT SIGN! USA and heros in the movies; -Save the world from an asteroid (Armageddon) -Save the world from the aliens (Independence day) -Save the world from comets (Deep impact) -Save the world from the other wolds (War of the Worlds) -AND many more of them!!! USA and heros in the rela world; -First country ever used nuclear bomb -Biggest carbon dioxide emission by USA activities with China -Biggest wapon exporter to the whole world even to their enemies!! (Money is better!)
  • true... notice how america is not joined. It is still the only country in the world as of 2009 no joined... moving to canada or england... or maybe Obama will be smarter than Bush... I certianly hope so....

  • Its not up to the president to decide wether an international treaty is ratified or not.

  • it certainly helps.... but yes it is up to congress...

  • But it is up to him whether he gives it to congress to ratify

  • lol halo theme xD

  • U.S.A. U.S.A!!

  • LMAO I LOVE 1:00

  • so basically its man made weather change. how would this interact with insects or animals who migrate by weather? would they not be confused? would this be the reason bee's and other insects are dying all over the place?

  • you must understand it is PEOPLE that are ruining the planet. and the planet is not under our control. if it were, we'd be in control of our future. therefore mother nature does not belong to us either. there should be a consequence to this, and maybe even a root to an inevitable coming.

  • I certainly hope this was a Jr. High project, because it should have received failing marks in any high school or college level course because it references nothing and was simply opinion mingled with plagiarized charts. Plus the kyoto protocol is crap. Your teacher must be a communist too.

  • Finally a comment that I agree with, first of all the US has not ratified the Kyoto protocol because under resolution 98 of the US Senate, it is impossible. Second almost every country that participates in Kyoto has increased its emissions and is unlikely to achieve the proposed goals by 2012.

  • Governments are comprised of people and among those people there are ones of great political influence due to their wealth and control of media, courts, industry and education. When so called government officials propose treaties it can be assumed that these treaties originated not from government officials but from these very private individuals that use governments as their front men. Do you really think these individuals have you and your family interests at heart Get Real Wake Up

  • We watched this in enviornmental science when we studied the kyoto protocol. Oh and the halo theme? Nice choice lol

  • this is like the catholic church selling indulgences.

  • send me a link to the cia docs please

  • 1:10

  • IF ITS SUCH A GOOD IDEA WHY DIDN'T YOU SIGN IT you idiot. And what's such a good idea about carbon trading. You're stupid

  • You guys are dumb as shit lol.

First you need a secondary energy source before you can implement a plan to regulate the only form of energy used wildly right now.

First come up with a solution to the problem, this is NOT a solution. Simply a way to reduce pollution. Which would slow economic growth, enforce taxes on countries that could not afford it, and in short make it HARDER to find any kind of permanent solution to "global warming"

  • The Kyoto protocol would be the WORST idea for global warming.

  • bush got his middle finger erected-3-

    laughmyassoff

  • ugh, freakin MUN.

i have a position paper on this .

    D:

  • It's Communism.

  • love your bush picture

  • the U.S. is faggy......................

  • be like Germany the greenest

  • Its a joke Less than 1/700 of a degree will be saved. As long as money is involved prepare to lose.

  • in 2007 a global warming debate conference was held in new york. before the debate 29% of the audience thought global warming was not a crisis, and 57% believed it was. by the end of the debate 46% believed it wasn't a crisis and 42% believed it still is.

  • 29% + 57%=100%.

Stupidity taking it to a whole new level.

  • and what about the percentage of ppl in the audience who were unsure of what to think?

  • your point is invalid. what you wrote is still incorrect and global warming is happening ABSOLUTE FACT.

  • CBC did a documentary called Doomsday Called Off. Google-video it. talks about how climate change is natural and humans are having only a fraction of an effect on it, if any at all. the oceans alone give off 95% of the earth's CO2. in the medieval period farmers flourished in Greenland (which is now iced over).

  • The climate is changing at a faster pace than it has ever changing before. fact.

  • ice caps on mars are melting. fact. are our SUV's causing that too?

  • get off the bandwagon and do your own research. even the founder of the Weather Channel, John Coleman, agrees that global warming is a scam. Senator James Inhofe of the Environment and Public Works Commitee stated in a 2006 Senate hearing that evidence shows that global warming is not nearly as detrimental as we're made to believe by the mainstream media, and that much evidence shows humans are not causing it.

  • the 5 most published and outspoken sceptics are reviewed in newscientist (an unbiased magazine)

search for "meet the global warming sceptics"

and guess what: 4 of them are funded by exxonmobil and the other is an oil exploration consultant...

  • in the 1970s newspapers read headlines about global cooling, this is b/c the avg global temp was decreasing b/w 1940 & '75 (ironically enough this was the period of the largest output of CO2), then the temps were increasing from '75 until the last few years. now we are seeing a cooling trend. oceans, vegetation and soil give off the most CO2, man accounts for approx 1%. also, plants THRIVE on CO2. they will grow considerably larger w/ bigger yields. does that sound like a food shortage???

  • ok, I've just been onto CNCs website, and every article they have there is full of environmental skepticism. they are totally biased against every single issue. I wouldn't really consider them to be a valid source of information...

  • i'm assuming you mean CBC? maybe CBC is skeptical about global warming b/c it was 2 U of T profs that proved the IPCC's "hockey stick" graph to be incorrect. the author of the graph, Michael Mann, uses data of ONLY the past 140 years to calculate the temp of ONLY the Northern Hemisphere for the past few centuries. you can't just discard any influence of climate from the southern hemisphere. the 1400's was one of the hottest times in history, yet farmers flourished in greenland (now iced over).

  • global warming is hoax. look it up. 20,000 scientists wolrdwide disagree. al gore's documentary is a fallacy.

  • I don't think you know what youre talking about dear.

  • then look it up! in 4 clicks of the mouse you will find copious websites and vids that reject the idea that we are causing global warming. CO2 comprises of about 1% of all greenhouse gases. water vapour is about 96%.

kyoto protocol and carbon tax are treaties and policies engineered to fund a one world governance.

if you don't believe me look it up so YOU know i'm wrong.

"none are more hopelessly ensalved than those who falsely believe they are free"

  • omg. this is like denying the holocaust. are you really that stupid?

well done you've found all the scientists paid by the oil companys and car manufacturers and bush. we can all find them too...

have you not seen all the scientific data, or are you making this up on your own opinions?

  • like i said, look it up. do your own research then come back and tell me i'm wrong. CBC did a documentary called "Global Warming Doomsday Called Off". Google it and watch the video

  • australia ratified last year.

  • Canada's not on the protocol anywhere, woohoo!!! bullshit communist propaganda.

  • LOL halo music. nice touch :)

  • We did a good job...I totally wrote a great script....buahahahhahaha..wait, WAS it me who wrote the script...?
