They then sold their carbon offsets into the carbon futures market making massive profit at the expense of the 1600 workers. Then a big Co2 producing company buys the same offsets putting the extra cost onto the consumer & in doing so calls themselves carbon neutral at the expense of the same 1600 UK workers. WAKE UP.

In other words you're just allowing countries that pollute less than the goal to: a) engage in emissions trading. b) pollute more. then look it up! in 4 clicks of the mouse you will find copious websites and vids that reject the idea that we are causing global warming. CO2 comprises of about 1% of all greenhouse gases. water vapour is about 96%.

Finally a comment that I agree with, first of all the US has not ratified the Kyoto protocol because under resolution 98 of the US Senate, it is impossible. Second almost every country that participates in Kyoto has increased its emissions and is unlikely to achieve the proposed goals by 2012.

First you need a secondary energy source before you can implement a plan to regulate the only form of energy used wildly right now.
First come up with a solution to the problem, this is NOT a solution. Simply a way to reduce pollution. Which would slow economic growth, enforce taxes on countries that could not afford it, and in short make it HARDER to find any kind of permanent solution to "global warming"

CBC did a documentary called Doomsday Called Off. Google-video it. talks about how climate change is natural and humans are having only a fraction of an effect on it, if any at all. the oceans alone give off 95% of the earth's CO2. in the medieval period farmers flourished in Greenland (which is now iced over).

get off the bandwagon and do your own research. even the founder of the Weather Channel, John Coleman, agrees that global warming is a scam. Senator James Inhofe of the Environment and Public Works Commitee stated in a 2006 Senate hearing that evidence shows that global warming is not nearly as detrimental as we're made to believe by the mainstream media, and that much evidence shows humans are not causing it.

in the 1970s newspapers read headlines about global cooling, this is b/c the avg global temp was decreasing b/w 1940 & '75 (ironically enough this was the period of the largest output of CO2), then the temps were increasing from '75 until the last few years. now we are seeing a cooling trend. oceans, vegetation and soil give off the most CO2, man accounts for approx 1%. also, plants THRIVE on CO2. they will grow considerably larger w/ bigger yields. does that sound like a food shortage???

i'm assuming you mean CBC? maybe CBC is skeptical about global warming b/c it was 2 U of T profs that proved the IPCC's "hockey stick" graph to be incorrect. the author of the graph, Michael Mann, uses data of ONLY the past 140 years to calculate the temp of ONLY the Northern Hemisphere for the past few centuries. you can't just discard any influence of climate from the southern hemisphere. the 1400's was one of the hottest times in history, yet farmers flourished in greenland (now iced over).

then look it up! in 4 clicks of the mouse you will find copious websites and vids that reject the idea that we are causing global warming. CO2 comprises of about 1% of all greenhouse gases. water vapour is about 96%.
kyoto protocol and carbon tax are treaties and policies engineered to fund a one world governance.
