It's obvious that the reason why Pete Carroll high tailed his ass out of SC, and took that lucrative job in Seattle was because he knew the NCAA was going to lay the hammer on USC with their sanctions regarding Reggie Bush, etc.
I can tell where your coming from. He's real good coach for USC, and he did wonders for that team, and he's going back to the NFL, and he turn this Seahawks team around from the past couple years.
i knew he was gonna leave with that muc money out there. I love pete carroll my uncle kirby wilson coached the RB's in 2001 with USC. I thought we'd get a decent new coach.. But we got stuck with FUCKING LANE KIFFINS ASS!"
Very kind of you to wish Pete good luck in the NFL however he will be just fine with the Seahawks organization. It's real obvious that Californians are disappointed in his decision, because lets be real. USC is going to suck even worse than before without Pete; and after 9 years of winning Trojan fans will have to feel what its like to experience a losing season. USC will never be the same ever ever again. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
What pisses me off is no one sees what I saw. USC talent is depleting pretty rapidly. The only thing that saved them from getting destroyed by Ohio State was Tressels conservative play calling. Pete Caroll lost my respect. Im a Buckeye fan but he left because talent was depleting and violations piling up. USC could be stripped of wins and national titles if they are found true. Pete Caroll leaves and loses nothing. What a bastard! Lane Kiffin can go to hell to!
If he left because of a tough season, then he will have real trouble in the NFL, because even great coaches have loosing seasons, and the media is multiplied for the NFL.
Even though SEC claims they are the best since they won the last 4 championships, I think any of the Previous USC teams post-Leinart could still beat those teams except this last season's USC team. I'm surprised USC blew it for themselves and lost to teams like Stanford, Oregon State etc. which kept them out of the national title games. Even though they ended up losing either 1 or 2 games, I still thought they were just as good if not better than the Champions of the last few years.
he knew when to leave
