So were the 2009 Gojra riots orchestrated by fundamentalist Maulvis. The LET, Sipah-e-Sahaba,, JEM, etc, have targeted minorities time and again. The kidnapping of non-Muslim girls and false blasphemy charges against non-Muslims are mostly planned too.

Minorities are persecuted in these places; Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka (my home state), Jammu and Kashmir and Orissa. With the exception of Gujarat, the government never backed such things. They are just inept. Gujarat has gotten a bad name in India because of it. The Sipah e sahaba were responsible for the Gojra massacre. They have also killed Shias and Ahmadis.

This is only a small example. The situation of Indian Muslims are far better than that of Pakistani minorities.
