General Petraeus, do you remember the oath when you joined the Army as do all recuits: "I do solomnly swear that I will support and defend the CONSTITUTION of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic..." - not in your perview?!
ugh you're an idiot. There are about a million men and women currently serving in uniform. If they all did what they personally saw as "supporting and defending the Constitution of the United States" there would be absolute chaos. You clearly have no clue how the military works. General Petraeus' only job is to do what he is commanded to do. And god damn he does a good job at that. I love how not only do liberals not join the military, but they maintain complete ignorance on how it works too
I took the oath to support and defend the Constitution with the United States Marine Corps. It is an easy thing for all soldiers to remember, and prevents chaos with a common duty and purpose.
Yes, and so did I, two months ago. But my point is that the oath didn't give you the right to do whatever you personally saw as sufficient to defend the Constitution. You don't question your orders, you do them.
Paul neglects to state that it was GOP Eisenhower (with vice Nixon) who started the War in Vietnam. In his omission of this fact he attempts to reprieve the Republican dominated congress under JFK of guilt and effectively placing it on Kennedy. This is common ignorance of history purposefully designed by conservatives to blame Democrats for what their party is in fact guilty of. Paul omits quite a great deal of facts in his little tirades. His so-called "message" is always undermined by this.
Actually it matters a great deal "whodunit." Ron Paul is just as corrupt as the rest of them... researching beyond his website of propaganda, gimmicks and slogans would show you that. I find it very funny that a man who is so opposed to the CFR is in fact tied to it though his little buddies at the JBS. This is one example of his blatant double standards... a sad character trait in any politician but especially one so self-righteous.
Imagine if you asked your doctor a medical question and the doctor responded "It's not within my purview to know the answer." Patraeus should be ashamed of himself.
Either these guys had ants in their pants or they were squirming due to nervousness. They KNOW we have had troops in Iran for the past 8 months. They KNOW the agenda of their puppetmasters - which is to conquer and reshape the Middle East. Our kids are being blown to bits, maimed and injured so that fat cats (contractors, military industrial complex, Rockefeller) can make more money. Let the bastards send their own kids or go themselves!
If a Military General of the United States of America, feels that it is not in his position, to know the answer to Ron Pauls question, he should be relieved of command immediatly. We cannot and should not allow a man or woman, to command our troops, without an understanding of our constitution and further, it is a required precept to entering the military, by taking an oath to the Constitution. It is self evident that Petraeus is incompetent, by his response.
Nah, he's competent.....he's just not competent enough to PRONOUNCE on such a complex question like that. Ron Paul may make it SOUND easy, but is SO MUCH MORE complex.
The critical context lies in HOW YOU PRONOUNCE the "NO!". Not everyone can get it right and that's why they have special people SPECIFICALLY hired for such a complex pronounciation. LMAO HAHAHA
General David Petraeus and Ambassador Ryan Crocker conveniently are ignorant to how they are violating the constitution to which they swore to uphold as the condition for getting the job and position.
General Petraeus will Betray us, unless he reads the Constitution he is supposed to protect.

Dude. We got WAY bigger problems than figuring out whodunnit! Who cares whodunnit? We need to fix the problem!
The parties are definitely corrupt now and have been for a long LONG time. Ron is trying to reform it back to it's most recent non-corrupt state.
If I were in charge, I would do away with the stupid parties structure altogether and ban them! Too bad I'm not though.
We have a person here that is NOT influenced by the corruption in his party and we should encourage it.
