JEFF BECK?!? whistle one of his songs-SNOOZE!!!!! THE DOORS?!?THE most over-rated band EVER! The 'Q,while not everyone's cup of tea,were always more daring and dare i say caring than any of the "Legends" of rock,and were, generally speaking,far better musicians.Far better.Trust me.

@whalerock1 How could you even put NRBQ in the same ranking with the Beatles and the Kinks? NRBQ is so far above and beyond everything else.

I saw NRBQ when they rolled into town at the Dutchess County Fair in Rhinebeck NY. That was in 1971. They played Rocket Number 9 to the Planet Venus. These dudes have been rockin for a long time. They had a great live sound!

For forty (40!) years NRBQ has been just about to catch on. Like soccer. Never happens. How or why they still are in business is a mystery--social security checks?-- so I faithfully tried this video. Judging by this hopeless performance, they've now adopted a defensive posture of "Aw, we're not really trying. Who cares?" Not me.

I always thought of NRBQ as the American Beatles,so imo they're both at the same level of greatness!There's room for both bands at the top of the list. ?

@whalerock1 how could you even put nrbq in the same ranking with the beatles and the kinks? there are at least 50 bands/solo artists better than nrbq. from the allman bros. to frank zappa, from jeff beck to the yardbirds, from cream to the who from the doors to johnny winter and on and on.
