The slavery of Africans by the Europeans was considered a time of cruelty. Where as slaves enslaved by other Africans were usually made to work, but they weren't treated like shit. The crisis in Rwanda is quite horrid, but that is by no means a fair representation of slavery between tribes. That's more war.
