My god :O What a morning rush hour with lots of people on the train and platforms. What's worse is that the passengers doesn't even stand at the side of the doors rather than stand infront of them so they can get inside the train. I really hate the morning and evening rush hour, all people coming to and from work or to and from school causing all trains to be completely crowded as well as the platforms.
Oh man...this takes me back. I was thinking that seems strange even for that time of morning, until I heard the announcement about the other nearby lines being out of service.
That station can be crowded on its own, add in the extra foot traffic from Queens Plaza? It's the perfect storm!
I know right? All this needs are some oshiya to push passengers into the cars. (I heard the MTA is hiring some now.) What I really hate, though, are the people who don't bother to move into the space between the windows because they're too scared to miss their stop! Gosh! just move into the middle and go to the door when you're about to get off. Be considerate. That's what I do... -_-\\\
Yea dat wuz dat crazy ass flood, man da E,F,R,and V had da worst disruptions dat day, how bout Roosevelt Av station was both flooded and smoke conditions
Ah the adventures of living in NYC. At least Roosevelt Island has a tram, no 3rd rail to flood out. The E, F, R, and V trains run on the deeper tracks in many places, 2 of them go under the east river if memory serves.

Hey ibook133, at least you can buy a house outside of RI with the money that would by a studio on RI.
