HI Julie, great to see and listen to you ! Really sorry to hear about your problems... so unfair that some cheaters manage to get through the system and others who would need help have to suffer... we have missed you but we understand that life gets in the way... take care and come over whenever you want to say hello, take care !!!
even doctors don't quite get it when you try to explain the cucle of chronic health issues and I can very well relate to that. I know what you are experiencing and hope things get better. Hard to get disability for fibromyalgia and chronic pain
My girlfriend has been on disability for three years because of chronic pain... It took five months of waiting to get on disability after she stopped working, but there was no way that she could have done her job anymore with what she was experiencing. I hope you find some solution for that predicament of yours...
Mostly I hve Problums with my bad Joints but about once a month I get very bad Back pain & it feels hard to breath & i end up getting sick. My Girlfreind trys to get me to see a dr aout those back paints but I'm a Stubern MAn
I was wondering when you were coming back. I had to do that when I was working for a cable company. I was getting ready to have surgery and the HR called the night before to tell me if I was not back after surgery and 4 weeks to recoup, that I have no job. I told them that is why I was having surgery so that I wouldn't miss so much. I ended up quiting shortly after that. I found a job that treated people with respect. I hardly ever had to take time off. My heart goes out to you. Get better.
If you never experience it you never know, some people will never understand unless they walk a day in your shoes. I hear about the medical bills, I have a ton that just came it, it's never easy. I wish you the best, I hope you feel good soon and I hope you are able to figure this all out and get what is needed and best for you.:)
Hi, Julie, I'm so sorry you have to go through so much. I have chronic pain and other chronic health issues, too. I became disabled in 2002 and in 2007, I tried to work 20 hours a week for awhile because we became homeless, but it rapidly became more and more difficult to do it and I had to quit. I finally won my disability case after trying for 4 years or so and, luckily, the judge counted my brief employment as a failed work attempt. I know how hard it is. Hang in there, sweetie. Hugs
Chronic pain is the worst. I had to watch my mom go through it. It's probably the saddest thing I have ever experienced. It's so hard to watch others suffer, especially when you can't do anything about it.
Well then you know, don't you? I will say that my adult son has a great deal of compassion for anyone who has chronic health issues or disabilities because he has watched me go through it so maybe that's a hidden blessing.
My heart goes out to you. The system is so messed up. Ppl can not live on disability it is way too low. Employers also descriminate for those suffering. Grrr... and Insurance. Well don't get me started. We are self employed and insurance is skyhigh. Not only do you pay high premiums but still have to pay out of pocket expenses that are
1000's of dollars!
So your condition of chronic pain is exacerbated by the stress of money!
Well you know it too, don't you? It's a mess. Yes I pay over $700 a month for a plan that doesn't cover squat and I have to pay for $3,000 up front deductible so yeah I hear what you are saying. Thanks for your input, comments and well wishes - I really appreciate it.
Chronic pain is hard to deal with. What's worse is when we look "normal" so people don't understand we are in pain and struggling. We have been without health insurance since the hubs was layed off July 2008 unable to afford it or qualify for it. It is very complicated. I am pushing myself to work more since we are struggling financial but makes my condition worse. When I worked full-time it was similar and came home and just slept. No quality of life. All try and pm/private video.
Hi Cozzyk - sweetie I know you get it. Would love to hear any comments or feedback from you because I KNOW you LIVE it. What's a person to do? Bless your heart.
I'm so sorry you have to worry about insurance and working Julie. You have to be a strong woman to be able to do what you do. Since I fell and broke my ankle it literally changed my life. No way would I be able to stand on my feet and work. I have to have my foot propped up almost constantly because of swelling and then I have pain every single day. I know you broke your ankle and so much more has happened to you. Hugs to you. I wish your pain would go away. I'm so sorry. Hugs
Hey Melissa - I KNOW you get it! Well, you got your own worries too - I shouldn't complain I have a lot to feel blessed over - it's just kind of getting me down, you know? Hugs to you and thanks for your comments and support.
