Avalon is one of my favorites, from the first cd to most recent.

I understand some like one or other group best, but music changes through time, and so have them. I think it's great that their music varies but they still have that distinction in every song. God bless you, keep touching lives through music!

This is such a great classic Avalon video... it is so awesome! I just got their new CD the other day Reborn... it's really good! I'm glad Jana and Greg and the new couple (who WROCK!) are continuing to carry the gospel message of Jesus to a lost and dying world. On the studio recording this song, like nearly all of Avalon's songs, is 'highly produced,' so I was wary of a live performance, knowing how so few singers really have the 'chops' to do their most difficult songs live. It is a great song. A classic. As to the sound, I think the guy in white has a softer voice than the others who have power-house voices. For this 'live' version, I think the person in the sound booth had the guy in white's microphone volume too low. The radio version of the song has a better mix. One thing about these Avalon folks: they don't hold back, which is awesome.

the guy in the white is Michael Passons, he is no longer with the group. he guy in the gray is Jody McBrayer, also no longer with the group. Jody left to pursue a solo career. I am not sure why Michael left, but I heard he is terminally ill.
