  • i absolutly adore u add me pliz....

  • How do you get your hair to be so long and moisturized? Im 15 and my hair hasn't looked like yours since I was a really little girl. Plus I relax it, But I figured it should still look healthy like yours.

  • @PatriceLeotaLyte, I keep it covered, it's not as long as it looks in this video, it waso nly around 6 inches long (I'm short and have a smaller face). I also spray my hair with water as daily, and keep it trimmed.

  • yeah cuz honestly looks like you liked the fro with headband look way more than the oh-so-tight fro one and it shud be about You and what makes You happy :P much luv

  • @ganjalova Thanks, I did like it better bigger, I do that now, how I like it :)

  • and your hair also longer than it appers

  • @SuperDroix {:o) it is, you should see it now, it looks the same length it is in this video except it's way longer

  • i love this JAZZ its so kool what the name of this song

  • @SuperDroix I think I put it in the video description, hold on let me check

  • Never thought about wetting my hair with water and then brushing it back. To be honest, since my hair is very thick I'm afraid to use a brush (breakage Lol) Normally when I don't have braids in, I either pick it out and wear a fro or I spray it real good with something like Tea Tree Oil, run a pick through it to slick it back, tie a do-rag on for about a minute or two to make it lay down and after that I'm out the door. Any advice you could offer?...and yes, I'm a dude.

  • @YungReg88 You don't have to use a brush, I don't use em anymore myself you can wet it pick it back and put the do rag on, but do it at night before bed that way it has time to set/dry and then in the morning you can just take the rag off and be ready to go with your hair. Sounds like what you're doing is working for ya, so that's the only thing I can think to suggest, thanks for watching :)

  • @ayamejoy: No prob.

  • Ok i see you

  • @MsChoriz0 :)

  • lol tell ur husband to fuck off i liked the second last style: fro with headband

  • @ganjalova Aww thanks Ganjalova :) We're not married anymore :)

  • LOVED the final look. It was so pretty.

  • @blacklove8503 Thank you soo much {;o)

  • I think the puff and the afro was AWESOME. keep up the good work and as far as your natural hair regardless of the style being unprofessional... I work in corporate america and all I get is compliments. I had a perm and weave when I got the job and BC'd 3 weeks after that. I have been happy ever since with my hair styles.

  • @BlkCoffi Thank you, and that's awesome! Congrats on your BC and sorry it took me so long to respond, there's been a lot of stuff going on with me lately, but I always get back to everyone {:o)

  • Great tutorial. I never heard of band stretching before. What hair accessory did you use on the final look?

  • @sss215 I used one of the scuunci bands that I didn't have wrapped around my odd little ponytail. I think I put the link in the side information, let me check real quick.

  • @sss215 Thank you, :) I used a scuunci headband looped twice and just pushed it back until it was on high. :)

  • Oh yea thats funny when you wrote your "Husband didnt like it"

My husband was the same way it is so funny...but I explained to him I was tired of

perms & wanted to be natural! He has been so supportive evey since!!

He just have to get use to it...Soon he will love it! Take care & Be Blessed...

  • @AKIYIAKELLY That's awesome! It's always nice to have a supporting spouse/significant other. I'm not married anymore. He cheated on me and got married a month after our divorce. He didn't get used to it, told me how unprofessional I looked amongst other things. You take care too and you are blessed, trust me {:o)

  • Thank you! It is funny how Society dont except natural hair. Im sorry

to hear about your husband.. Dont worry God close 1 door to open up

    several more...

  • Your hair looks beautiful! Your expressions at the end is priceless. "Like really?" Is what comes to mind when seeing it. Hope to try this soon, but too lazy.

  • @nawil4 Hope you like it when you do try it, and yea, I was like really, how can you not like this hair, I spent all that time getting it so big and really? didn't like it? I was a little mad, lol

  • Your videos are always so nice. I just started watching them but I love your personality:)

  • Thank you so much mekazonia, Hope you have a nice week!

    Aya

  • This looks like a great alternative to the blow out! A flat twist out on stretched out hair would have been cute too!! You look great! Thanks for the video!

  • Thank you Natural PhD :)Thank you so much! You're very welcome {:o)

  • i like this video i never know what to do when i air dry my hair it always looks so ugh so now i can do this

  • Awesome mizzannie001 {:o)

  • Yes, I LOVE the poofed fro. My only question, what kind of hair band do you use? I feel as though when I finish transitioning, the hair bands that I usually use won't leave the front of my hair as straight as yours was...

  • Cool! Thanks vdubb2012 {:o) I use the scuunci hair bands, the skinny ones. It just depends on your hair type. I do know that if my hair gets all the way dry it turns out straighter.

  • really like your video, please tell me what is it the pink bottle? thx...

  • Thank you Lagrynta, the pink bottle has water in it {:o)

  • Girl, I absolutely LOVE your videos and, because of you, I am trying banding tonight for the FIRST TIME! I sure hope it works because I am tired of shrinkage and I can two strand twist or come up with a good twist out to save my life! LOL

Keep the videos coming cause you have fans out here just waiting! =)

  • Thank you so much ebonyeyz28, I'm glad you like them {:o) I hope your banding works as well as mine did. Make sure you give your hair time to fully dry or it won't turn out as stretched. You can do it! Keep trying you'll find a way to get it how you want it I'm sure of it. I'll try to keep it going, I haven't done much new so there's been less hair videos

  • How did it turn out?

  • OMG, I love banding (I haven't tried just banding the back, I still do about 5 or 6 individual ones)! Every time I've tried it I ended up with big hair and, for me, that's pretty hard cause my coils looooove to shrink down to nothing! LOL

Now I just need to figure out what to do with my stretched hair because I still can't manage anything but a puff! *shaking my head*

Again, thank you so much for your videos and, don't worry, we'll be patient for more! LOL

  • Awesome!! ! I bet your puff is nice! You'll figure it out, I'm sure of it {:o) Hope you have a good week!

    Aya

  • I love banding, too, cause my kinky coils don't play around!! LOL!

  • {:o) Banding is awesome!

  • Double thanks earthfire99 {:o), I pat it to make it more evenly round if one side is stretched more than the other :)

  • actually i liked all the styles you tried lol

  • Thank you naeray17 {:o)

  • The afro puff was nice. But to be honest, your hair looked best when you first combed it out into the into the bob. That really looked nice.

  • Thank you almondy1963 {:o)

  • Beautiful results. I do this to my TWA (without) the ponytail to stretch my hair. It's great to show that heat is not needed. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you {:o) lol I like your enthusiasm

  • love the look i hope my hair can grow fast and be like yours, umm do you use the ic fantasia styleing gel to define your curls? if not then what do you use?

  • 1misskelly08, Thanks so much! {:o) I don't use gel in my hair, it makes it dry and brittle. To "define" my curls I co-wash with hot water (I know, most people say to use cold), detangle then finger comb for 10 minutes. When I rinse my hair out I kinda pat it out until everythings out so my curls stay how they are. Besides that I spray my homemade spritz on it, smooth it on and then smooth a little shea butter whip on it. I'm going to make a video on it soon. {:o)

  • oh ok thanks for the advise. cant wait to see the next video.

  • beautiful hair i love your curls=o)

  • Thank you lovelyti2002 {:o) Your hair is growing so fast!

  • how do you "poof" your fro?

  • Cyatty, I take a head band, double loop it around my neck , pull it up to my hairline and push back until it's where I want it. I think It's shown in another video

  • your puff was rockin!

  • Thank you browntee7 {:o)

  • great job,i will be trying this technique

  • Thank you blkshun2001! I hope it works as well for you as it did for me {:O)

  • great puff :)

  • Thanks Mynameisdesirae {:o)

  • thats interesting. i may try it when my hair gets longer. i doubt it would get as straight though. it looks like the hair could have been easily flat ironed.

  • ElisaNY, Glad you found it interesting {:o) why wouldn't yours get as straight though? It probably would have been easy to flat iron. It helps the fro look bigger and puffs look puffier without heat, which I think is pretty cool :)

  • my hair wont get as straight because my hair does not lay down as easily.

  • It wasn't that easy, I had to add shea butter and brush and more water and brush some more and hold it back.. I basically added enough shea butter to where it acted like dax would. It took about 10 minutes and if i let it go it would immediately start puffing out. Next time I do it i'll show more of how i get it down.

  • i liked how it was when you first combed it out best. do you think this could work for someone whose hair cannot reach all the way into a ponytail?

  • candiimamii326, I think it would, I've seen videos of people with shorter hair do it. They make more smaler ponytails

  • That video was shocking because I was so suprised that you could comb your hair back so easy! Then after you ran a comb through it and it went through so easily. I think I will try this, but I'll need a few more banded sections because I can't do a ponytail. Wow, that was really stretched!

  • I always detangle my hair before doing anything to it. If I'd tried to just wet it and brush it back ohmygoodness, lol that wouldnt work out.

I spent longer than I show brushing and smoothing and had to add more shea butter to keep my hair from escaping.

let me know how it works out for you, I hope it turns out good for ya {:o)

  • really nice, how did you poof it? just added water?

  • No, I combed up and away from my head which dried my hair more and got a scuunci band and doubled it around my neck and pulled the band back over my head until it was far enough back. You can see how I do it in the Hair Banding - Binding 6:47-6:57 just fast forward to it.

  • If I'd added water, my hair would shrink up and by the time I was done playing with my hair it was dry. i rarely sleep long enough for my hair to dry up.

  • I really love your hair texture, great video and I also love all of your techniques.

  • Thanks 249money! I'm so happy you like them :)

  • That turned out really well! Love the puff (I loved the fro too.) You could even wear the binding as is..so long as the elastic u use matches your outfit. Luv it!

  • {:o) It was the biggest fro I've gotten so far I was so proud of it, lol

  • I love your hair, it's gorgeous!

  • thank you newbienappy09 :) Thank you so much

  • LOL!! I shake my hair just like that when I take it out!! My mom said I am going to break my neck shaking. Nice Puff!!

  • lol :) Thank you Baybee3695

  • Loved the vid! U really had me waiting to see the end results:) Good choice of music 2. I have that same scarf (the purple 1 u had in ur video) and it seems like I putting mine on backwards, hmmm! Anyways, I njoy ur videos, and Im gonna try 2 watch them all.

  • Thanks Teddiesandangel! :) I don't know if I'm putting it on right or wrong, I just like to tie in the front so i put it on that way. I'm glad you enjoy em! hopefully I'll have some better ones soon {:o)

  • Hey, your pretty. A cute chocolate drop. lol, but forreal. Now explain to me why you can not flat iron your hair. I am kind of comfused about natural hair. I thought the whole Ideal of natural hair was to put no chemicals in it...but flat ironing will not hurt it will it?

  • I can, I'm just scared to, I don't want to accidentally permanently straighten some parts. I don't know how to lightly straighten. I'd get my hair so straight it moved easily just from walking.

I've seen a few video where people have flat ironed their hair straight in some parts and it never went curly again. So it could hurt it if it's not done properly. I'm still researching and it seems that people that do it around 300, 350 degrees their hair goes back for the most part.

  • Oh its the curly look you want when you go natural. Oh, I did not know that.

  • {:o) I like my curly hair, lol I want to keep it. A video of MissJoJo86 that I saw called heat damaged ends that made me worry. I didn't even know i could permanently straighten my hair with heat only. Then I saw some videos about "thermal relaxing" by milstan1 and I was like ooo buddy. I don't know if I'm going to flat iron my hair. What if I do this to myself? That thermal relaxing looks really cool though. I wish I'd had someone to do that instead of the chemicals when i was perming.

  • I think your hair comes rather nice. Especially the afro puff.

  • Thank you tmama {:o)
