Actually, Bethesda have confirmed that while there will be fewer DLC's than Oblivion, the DLC's for Skyrim are going to be HUGE. Like the Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine Expansion Packs.

theres also supposed to be "arena like" places in skyrim. there just no main arena

The DLC are going to be smaller? But every interview has said that they will be bigger than Fallout 3, just fewer of them.
