  • It's wonderful that this Aeolian organ was saved. I understand that it was through heroic efforts by alumni that it escaped the trash heap. I have trouble imagining Reger on the Brombaugh.

    Are there any clips uploaded that feature Duke's new(ish) Brombaugh Organ? 

  • This is the best rendition of this piece I have ever heard. I especially like his decrescendo and tempo rubato followed by the rapid addition of stops to fortissimo coupled with accelerando in the last few measures. Highly effective! This is the way Reger was meant to be played.
