truely the most amazing dancer we have had the pleasure of watching :) Thank you Mr. Kelly for your work and enjoyment so that we in later years are able to look back and enjoy such amazing work! :)
@SharSama Few can compare with Mr. Kelly! I'm in complete agreement. We're lucky to have witnessed such a superb performer. Many thanks for your gracious comments!
My father saw Anchor's Aweigh in the 50's and he always told me it was his top favorite. I saw it in black and white tv in the early 70's. I was so fascinated with Gene Kelly's dancing. Anyone remember that movie? The little kid must be in his late 60's now.
@ambrosiobertodazo The little kid is wonderful actor Dean Stockwell, about 75 years old now! This film is a showcase for Dean, Kathryn Grayson, Frank Sinatra and amazing Gene Kelly! I'm grateful to hear from you, and honored that you liked this clip! Best regards.
@varadero1839 Thanks for the information. So the kid in Anchor's Aweigh is an older man now, but that film preserved him as a kid forever. Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly are my father's favorite and when I watch clip like this it brings me back in time to our living room in the 70's watching black and white tv. My father is still around with a few more years to go. Though his vision and hearing are bad he still watches tv. time to time.
@PrueStar His was one of the best talents that Hollywood had to offer. Please, check around on YT, since there are so many tributes to this brilliant performer. Thank you for your comment!
@PrueStar You have to see Anchors Aweigh, Singing in the Rain, An American in Paris. Gene Kelly is one of the greatest talents / dancers / choreographers ever in Hollywood.
Those 2 could do no wrong! Especially remember them in "Down Argentine Way," with Grable, Ameche and Cesar Romero! They were amazing! Thank you fine friend!!
