  • what you telling me you would not make that trade @GalaxyProductionz

  • the other one was better

  • Good grenade plant lol

  • Why does this only have 4k views? You guys deserve waayyy more, this was excellent. Make a mini series, Fallout needs more than just Nuka Break and you guys seem on par with them or nearly there.

  • Holy crap those props are amazingly well done

  • nice

  • nice oversized ppsh

  • @USMilitaryEnthusiast That would be the combat shotgun, modeled after the one in the video game, Fallout 3, that this video is a fan film of.

  • @TheGreatKadik oh thx

  • Nice job! The action needs some choreography, though :P

  • a grenade for a shotgun?? lol what a n00b NPC

  • like if movie quest sent you here

  • Lol, you can see people walking in the backround at the end there, dunno if they were supposed to be there.

  • movie quest sent me here... awesome short.

  • Are you Armenian?

  • Nice location, replicas and uniform but... Raiders is too clean for postapocaliptic world, I thought that I hear driving cars in the 7:35 and in the 9:55 we can see "dead riders" walking from place where they die. I don't mean it this film is bad because I can imagine how much work it cost. Just few things to do better in the future :)

  • Not bad need to see more blood in the knife fight.

  • I was sent here by Indymogul

  • Just some constructive criticism :) good movie though!

  • you should definitly invest in a more directional microphone, you pick up too much of the clinking of all the things they're moving around, where you should be trying to pick up their voices more. Also, your color correction could use a little work, if I understand correctly its supposed to be post apocalyptic, but the color scheme doesn't sell it for me. also, the wind gusts are very obviously just added on. Recording ambient sound from the actual place would have been more natural.

  • @TheBoomTube Yeah money is pretty tight but a new microphone and recorder are on my list along with a ton of other equipment. And the wind gusts are from Fallout, as are all the sound effects, I wanted to put them in there for that purpose.

  • Gotta love when idioms survive the apocalypse. And the shotgun looks like it might blow away in the wind. Other than that this video was awesome!

Oh, one more thing, why did you focus on the teddy bear for so long and then not do anything with it?

  • shotgun was made of styrophoam

  • @RainingBuffalo It was hollow and made out of paper.

  • What a terriable Shotgun

  • at tha end, you can see 2 people walking in the background.. fail? of zombieraiders?

  • Clinton Jones and Freddie Wong brought me here... You guys are good, the filming and editing are great! Epic scenerey! I agree though with other commentors that the bad guys just don't act tough enough, they can't hold a candle to the main actor... They just aren't believable. You've got all the equipment and editing, just work on the storyline some more. I'm just the opposite, have great ideas but no HD cam or Adobe. keep up the great work... You've just made another subscriber!

  • Only one thing missing. You had the Mysterious Magnum guitar riff sound effect when the Courier un-holstered the weapon; it would have been incredibly epic if you'd added the other guitar riff when he re-holstered the gun after killing that last raider.

  • Hmm courier walking the wasteland to deliver a package.Where have we seen this?

  • Damn good work.

  • the raiders were terrible actors :p

  • are the snow mask part of the game? they look wierd to me

  • Very good man, I really liked the sword fight was pretty cool I have to say..

  • the acting of the 3 raiders was terrible, and you needed to get rid of the sound of the traffic in the back ground.

  • i prefered this one to the other version

  • You ever heard of the crimson tide? Lolololllolololol

  • I like all the people walking around in the background at the end. :P

  • omgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomg

  • this was soo good!

  • Was the guy at the end Nick Laurant/ rosenchuck1??

Great video, loved the camera work but some of the effects could have been improved such as the bullet hit's where way to bright, I would give it a 8.5/10

    T.M.P

  • @TrueMOBSTER No, Nick was the Raider that got blown up.

  • that refinery is like two seconds from my film school. :)

  • AWESOME!

  • I remember way back in the day when this was just an idea. It was well worth the wait. Great job dude, keep it up.

  • Dope!

  • 6:52 there's a bunch of cars driving...

  • camera is gr8 but effects sucked

  • 9:57-10:03 there's people walking in the background

  • Good to see light box productions doing another sci fi film!

  • Great short man, really loved the camera work and the acting wasn't too shabby either. Besides what the others are saying about the explosions which I'm sure you know needed a tad of brushing up anyway, the only real thing that took away from the video was the knife/sword choreography. The actors' fear of hurting each other came off the screen pretty badly, just a head's up. You can try rehearsing the exact moves for a few weeks before shooting, or using rubber knives, but great film!

  • the explosion was really bad but otherwise good job

  • That shotgun always did jam...

  • Awesome stuff, Andrew! Great costumes, props and location. I also really loved the editing and the cinematography. You're getting better and better all the time!

    Keep up the good work!

  • brillant work guys! its awesome make more!

  • Pretty cool..explosion was a little small but it was good

  • LA Area yes or no??? I think i have seen that air raid siren tower before!!!

  • @AceOfTricks007 The radio tower is in LA yes but the abandones oil refinery location is in Ventura.

  • great direction, not bad acting, average vfx. If you know you can't create a ralistic looking explosion maybe it would be best to avoid explosions all together. I know i shoulden't critisize without offering a decent alternative. Have you tried reaction shots? where you only show someones reaction with the sound of the explosion? keep up the awesome videos! :)

  • Recognized the walking people in the backround after shooting the last enemy? :)

  • @sintoxdesign Yes lol. Which is why I blurred it out, doesn't help that much apparently though.

  • @TheGreatKadik It is not bad, it leaves room for a next part of the film: "The Guy walkes away and there are legion-guys who heard the noise from far away and wanted to see what happens"

  • @sintoxdesign Hahahaha, SEQUEL! lol

  • Now THAT was good. So glad i stumbled upon you guys through Nick. Good work dudes! Subbed and Faved.

  • *love*

  • Woooooo

  • Very nice.
